Someone ( @Chalky ?) posted a comment today in the Discogs entry of Sonny Parker. Suggesting this might be a 1973 release based on the fact that the b-side "What can I do" was copyright registered in 1973, whereas the a-side was registered in 1965. In my opinion, it's rather unlikely this was released in 1973. It would have sounded very outdated by then. The commercial success would have been zilch. My theory, both sides were recorded and released in the 60s. And that the b-side wasn't registered before 1973 for whatever reason. Any thoughts on that? There are some stamped matrix details in the run-out but they don't indicate neither the pressing plant nor the release date.

The way I understand it you can edit an auction text only when no bid is placed on it. He had added the bit about it being a 2nd issue very early in the timeline of the auction so maybe even before the first bid was placed?

Omen was part of A&M records. And allegedly Brice Coefield came with an A&M company sleeve originally. So not unlikely one's brain can play some tricks and gets you thinking it came out on A&M.

maybe this is of interest to anyone on here? 43x UK Pop/Swing/Jazz Demo and DJ Promo 45s. Majority single sided demos from the 1950s plus a few double sided ones from late 50s/early 60s. Very likely to me that Charly lists Levanna as an artist just due to technical reason (website database), e.g. Discogs lists compilers like Ady C as artists as well. Levanna/Abby and her mom wouldn't be the first one or even currently the only ones trying to exploit the scene financially would they?

Honestly, I don't believe you. Maybe you got some dates mixed up. Make up your mind was first as 100 club 45 in September 1998. Do you really think it's possible they got hold of the 100 club 45, dubbed it for their bootleg in the same year? Highly unlikely. Brooklyn Born is Rich Rosen.

The unsold stock haul was first and yes sold via Rich Rosen in 1997/1998. Few months later Rich started to list these infamous pressings of Kissi Jacobs, Johnny Watson and probably many others I can't remember right now. The Ringleaders, Towanda Barnes and San Francisco TKOs bootlegs turned much later.
