I know, not really the appropriate forum for UK Beat, but it's the only music forum I'm a member of.
Bought this the other in a job lot:
Dave Lee & The Staggerlees - Sweet & Lovely/Forever and always - Oriole 1907
Is this worth anything?
Thanks!
Actually I think it's far from total transparency. Reissue is only mentioned in the Item condition subtitle. Not a single word about that in the actual item description. I wouldn't even see the subtitle on my mobile.
Of course, doesn't save the buyer from doing his homework and finding out if he's going to bid on an original or pressing.
Must play fine. Willing to pay stated prices. Please PM. Thanks!

Exactly.
Clearly, the paying-vastly-over-the-top-morons are fed up waiting for JM's auctions to finish once a week, they're moved to Ebay to get rid of their dosh several times a week.
I understand this was played c/up in the beginning. Does anyone know when it was uncovered?
On a trip to London in about 91/92 I attended a soul night in Camden. One of the DJ's played a record that sounded so great, I went to the DJ to ask what it was. He just laughed and pointed at a paper covered label. Only years later I realized it probably was the Oxford Knights. DJ in question might have been Ion??
Wimp! Move to Bavaria, plenty of snow, -10° Celsius and no british TV
Edit: I had my reservations about the movie but after I'd seen it a few times I realized what a fantastic film it is. And by the way, Burnsworth is a shit hole.
Dave, yes plenty of copies on Discogs. But they're either in shagged condition or from the US (=3xprice of record for postage)
And yes, fantastic record. Forgot all about it until recently. Fell in love with it.
Anyway, sorted now.
I used to have this on german Page One w/out a picture sleeve. Once I found ar copy with PS I put the sleeveless one on Ebay. Got quite a good result. I guess there are plenty of ex-Wigan punters out there buying all that stuff that reminds them of their youth.
