Quite a number of people posted outright racists views in "Current affairs" over the years. Coming from that I guess there is racism on the scene, although it's not outspoken.

I just checked. Mediafire already copyrighted one of my files, saying it might be available as legal download on Amazon. Even though my file is only a <1 min clip. I guess they cross search using the filenames as search terms. Annoying but hey, they have to make sure nobody's sharing illegal stuff Maybe re-naming the file will do, in case of the Stafford podcasts maybe something like St. Afford?

It's a link to a subfolder I created. Leads to a Mediafire page where all mp3 clips in said folder are listed. You click on one and choose download or stream. If stream a new page opens with an online player.

I uploaded a few clips to Mediafire and sent out the link to a few mates. Seems like it's ok.

Just a quick question. I used to upload my Ebay and Soul Source Sales audio clips to Divshare.com. Seems like they cancelled the free basic accounts and accept premium accounts only now. Does somebody know an alternative website where I can upload audio clips and stream them from there? TIA Benji

Don't know if "that smell" ever disappears. But there's a huge difference in smell between an "old" (60s/70s) acetate and a comparatively new one. I once bought two acetates from a NY seller, both allegedly old ones. One was bogus. It was the smell that gave it away. I'm sure Mal got a proper one. For a proper price. Well done!

I'd rather have someone playing first-rate Northern off a CD or mp3 than someone playing second or third rate Northern off original vinyl. Seems many care more about the music's format than the quality.
