As Dave said, early/mid 90s issue first press. Think it had a much later 2nd press on a different coloured label, black? Was it legal? I don't know. At least it's straight from the master tape like other Soul King releases.

Joe Moore on Mar-V-Lus - New York or Chicago recording?
Benji replied to Robbk's topic in Look At Your Box
Of course I meant that I didn't notice that Joe Moore is white. Which I somehow assumed after I heard the flip for the first time. However, after your and Andy's posts I stand corrected. -

Benji replied to Robbk's topic in Look At Your Box
@Derek: thanks for posting that great flip side. Right up my street. Never noticed that JM was probably blue-eyed. -
highly collectable IMO, no doubt. But nevertheless a TP of a withdrawn reissue.
-
Not as in demand as it used to be these days, I'd say around 500 for a nice condition copy?

I can't think of any reason but the label debris why crack doesn't stay closed. Or was it warped before by any chance? I'd tear of any label debris around the crack and then try to fix the crack. I mean what's worse, record that won't play or some label damage? By the way with a solid crack all the way through the record I'd say that chances you fix the crack and both sides remain playable are rather slim.

How different is it to the US issue? Different version or just different mix?

Got a bunch of Goldmine CDs I intend to sell. 50+ pieces with a few of the limited Millionaires only releases among them. Can't be bothered to price them individually. Does anyone have a ballpark value for a single Goldmine CD? Thought about selling them @ 8-10 each w/ the Millionaires one at 15. Too much or about right? Thanks!
-
Wow, great one. By the way, it's a TP of the 1967 release on french Roulette/Vogue.
-
As said before these multi-coloured pressings are well documented. But I can't help it, that Sam Fletcher one sure looks very nice. I somehow can't be bothered about the other ones...
-
It's a scan from my own copy I sold many years ago. Never seen another. Unfortunately I can't remember where it went. Because I'd try to buy it back straight away!

The parliaments, "rainy day", on e-bay, end price,?
Benji replied to De-to's topic in Look At Your Box
Easy one. 1-10 Mello Souls 11-99 everything else. (However, Diane Lewis c/up might sneak in at 10) -
Would like to date my copy of La Reine La Mar on Cloud, matrix # is ZTSP 106518. Can anyone date it by that? TIA Benji Ignore post. Copied the ZSTP info from Discogs before I had a look at my copy. Turns out there's no ZTSP stamp on my copy. Instead there's a name or something and 1965 next to it. Enough info for me.

Robb, I'm bavarian. We use double negative all the time (for positive) Of course I tried to say nobody can deny it sounds like 100% Detroit.
