  1. Well, just a short look at the credits would have told you it's from France As much as I like the original version (have it on italian 45) this french one is not my cup of "vin rouge". The UK (?) version by Esperanto much better IMO....
  2. German customs include postage when calculating import duties. Meaning, it's not just the cost of the record you pay duty for but also for the postage.
  3. This is no sale talk but I highly recommend this box for two reasons: 1) it's really heavy duty and protects your precious vinyl 100% 2) and this is even more important IMO. the handle for carrying the box isn't in the front but on the side. That means whenever you carry the box around you won't have three rows of 100's of 45s stacked on each other. So chances you snap any of your 45s in half are slim to none.

  8. At least the item description isn't lacking any of the most important Ebay search key words: "Jerry Williams - If You Ask Me / Yvonne - Calla Demo 116 - Northern Soul Crossover Motown Tmg Rare Modern Funk RnB R&B Oldie's Classics Ultra Mega Popcorn Beat Mod Club New Breed Reggae Disco Boogie Doowop Rock n Roll Teen 50s 60s Psychic Freakbeat Pop Records Vinyl"
  9. Ken, where did you get the BitCoin value from? As of today, one BitCoin is $5.743
  10. but I'd say the TP is still collectable in a nostalgic point of view.
  11. Anyone noticed the fault in the recording of You Can't Do That? Right after the intro, about 0:10 into the song the recording seems to slow down for a second. Like a warped record. I had a few copies of the german Jayboy release and they were all like that. So I guess the fault was in the actual master tape? See for yourself, at 00:12 of the YT vid:

  13. A-side shite as a Reggae record and even worse as a soul record. B-side is ok though. Certainly not worth the price it went for. According to Discogs this isn't Ken Parker but infact Slim Smith on A-side and Alton Ellis on B-side. Don't know how true that is but it's definitely too different artists on both sides.
  14. just some trivia: IWIW was also done by "The Partnership". German only release from the late 60s on an indie label called "Victoria". I wish I was saying it's a great cover. It isn't. It's awful.
  15. THREE DEGREES - LONELY TOWN - BELLAPHON GERMANY (w/ PS) £20 Only way to get this stormin version on 45. Vinyl EX, sleeve VG ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Paypal only. Worldwide P&P flatrate from Germany: £3.60 standard / £5.90 signed for / £7.50 Insured (Europe only)
  16. Pathetic behaviour. Either keep the details secret (and say you do) or pass on all the information. But being sketchy about the details is just poor.
  17. Its's a geranium pot, with laces.
  18. JACKIE WILSON - SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES YOU - MCA GERMANY (w/ PS) M- £25 Vinyl in fantastic condition. Sleeve is VG+ with small writing on back. 19. Sorry for delay. Reply got stuck in my spam filter: "Benji, We appreciate your interest. We obtained these from someone who had them custom made for his own collection. After reviewing some of them, there are some quality issues with playback. We have removed them from sale pending further investigation. Thanks and have a wonderful day, John"
  20. I did something that I guess most of you would never think of: I emailed Craig Moerer stuff and asked for more details about the Empires repro. Of course I won't share the reply
  21. Whenever I'm too happy I play this one. Never let's me down (or should it be always lets me down)?:
  22. Most collectors want it either on US or UK. So the german issue isn't worth a lot. Even though it's not that easy to find. I'd say 8-10 quid.
  23. Wanted : The Opening "Tea House" on Reggae. Please PM. Thanks!
  24. Can't play the clip on my Firefox browser Any help?
