  1. MURIEL DAY - NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN - GERMAN PAGE ONE (VG, plays fine with some crackle) OFFERS This german release seems to be so rare I couldn't find any information about it on the net. I sure ain't trying to make a fortune with it but as mentioned in other thread, I just don't know what value I'd put on it? £5, £10, £100???? You tell me, any nice offer considered Paypal prefered, Postage extra (regular £3, registered £5) Can provide soundfile if requested. If interested, please PM me.
  2. SOLD ITEMS REMOVED AND NEW ITEMS ADDED!
  3. Picked this one up the other day: Muriel Day - Nine times out of ten - German Page One/Ariola 14 417 I frankly don't know, shall I keep it or not? It appears to be very rare, but musical content is rather disappointing (as you all know). Is it worth anything? TIA Benji
  4. Yes, me. Such a crap tune, can't believe it it got and still gets played. No wonder we had an oil crisis in the early 70s when it was wasted to press crap like this...
  5. SORTED NOW, THANKS TO ALL WHO OFFERED ME A COPY! This is the 2nd time over the last few months that I posted a want for one of those so called "rarities" and was offered more than one copy within a few hours. Yet when I tried to find many-copies-around-mate stuff like The Lovelites "get him off my conscience" it took me several months to secure one. Weird
  6. Wanted: Mike & Ray - If only you knew - Giant Must be at least in VG condition. The most recent price quote I've seen was 299 quid on Manship auction so I'm willing to pay about that depending on the condition. TIA Benji

  8. LITTLE BUMP, REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED FOR ALL ITEMS...
  9. As I'm far from being an expert on identifying differences in mixes here are 1:00 min clips of both 45s. As you can hear hand claps and horn section are far more prominent on the US mix. Would you guys agree it's still the same take as on the german 45? Tony, I don't know which mix is the UK/US Mono one but I prefer the US Spring 45 one... 11. Last night I played the soundclip of John Manship's Mojo copy and it sounded more like the US mix than the Polydor one. If I find the time I'll post clips of my Spring and Polydor copies for comparison...
  12. I recently picked up Millie Jackson's My man a sweet man on the original german Polydor release. When playing it at home I realised it sounds quite different to the US Spring 45. Different not in the meaning of different takes/versions but it's the mix. E.g. the handclaps in the backing track that you can hear clearly on the Spring 45 are muffled and almost inaudible on the Polydor 45. Now I was wondering if it's just the german release that sounds different to the US one? Anyone know if the original UK 45 mix is different too? THANKS! Benji
