  1. For sale: R. Dean Taylor - Ghost in my house - V.I.P. (Multicoloured west coast demo copy) 75 GBP o.n.o. Nice collector's rarity, genuine west coast multi-coloured DJ copy, same song both sides. VG++ condition, plays really fine. Probably the rarest format for this classic. Paypal or cash, post within Europe 3 GBP regular, 5 GBP registered and 7 GBP insured. Bit more outside of Europe, less within Germany. Please PM me if interested! Scans available on request. TIA Benji
  2. NOW REDUCED FOR A (HOPEFULLY) QUICK SALE!
  3. Does somebody know the current value for: Finess - Have it Your Way / I Don't Want to Be Left on the Outside - Brown Bomber 101 TIA Benji
  4. As far as I remember there was a sticker on the wrapping mentioning the 45 freebie.
  5. How about Kimberly Briggs/Kim Tolliver?
  6. I'm after Reparata & The Delrons - Panic - German Bell 45 Must be at least VG condition. Not sure of price but am willing to pay a fair amount, even more if it comes with a picture sleeve. Alternatively nice german soul 45s for trades waiting! TIA Benji
  7. I'm after: John Westley - You are the one - Corsair Must be at least VG condition. Am willing to pay 200-ish for a copy. Anyone?? TIA Benji
  8. Marc, John Westley and Johnny Moffett are one and the same. Wesley was Johnny Moffetts middle name. As with most of TBs valuations I seriously doubt the 300 quid price tag. A record is only worth what someone pays for it, not what someone wants for it. Can't find it now but there was a copy on Ebay either end of last or beginning of this year and it either didn't sell or went rather cheap. Does anybody else remember that? I don't want a copy because I think it's an excellent track (infact I think it's rather mediocre) but for nostalgic reasons. So if anybody wants to sell me a copy I offer 200 quid. (will put that in Wants section as well)
  9. You really think that's twisted? I think it's classic four beats to the bar out and out Northern Soul. PS: can somebody post up the video here? it's a nice one for the boys I'm sure it's on Youtube but can't access the site from the office PC.
  10. Then you probably had the reissue. Over the years I had both original 60s presses of Crazy about you baby, one had Aware of love on flip but forgot what the other was. Anyway, both presses had excellent sound quality. The 80s reissue was/is of bad sound quality.
  11. rather well known cover (and inferior to Deena Johnson IMO), I understand there are two presses of it, one with lousy and one with rather good sound quality. Think the worse press was on a red label?? But have to say I'm gobsmacked about the winning bid...
  12. Not booted but reissued by the Group itself in the 80s, same label ("EEE") but record looks like an 80s record not like a 60s disc if that is of any help??
  13. nicked off my labelscan site:
  14. Headsy, I stand corrected (if that figure is correct). But it still puzzles why the album is so hard to find when it sold 200.000 copies? Should have been in the R&B charts with those sales figures?
  15. I guess 200 copies more likely I know for a fact that the group split up right after the album came out because of its non-success so rather unlikely it sold well isn't it?
  16. Yep, that's the one. Have you thought about selling your copy? I still want one...
  17. I remember many years ago an US seller found the album with the promo 45. He put both separately on Ebay, both starting at something like $49.99. The bids for the 45 went mental whereas only two people placed a bid on the album, which eventually sold for about $70. I was pretty happy for getting the album that cheap
  18. I used to have Roy Roberts - Got to have your love on JA Stateside, sorry no scan
  19. Sorry, you're wrong. It's not the take issued as by Johnny Moffett on Canterbury. It's the version issued as by John Westley on Corsair. Slightly different take despite being the very same artist.
  20. It's already sold but here's a scan...

  22. For sale: THE FOUNDATIONS - CHANGE MY LIFE - PANKY BELGIUM (PS) Vinyl is EX+, cover is VG++ (small WOL on front and some torn piece on back), see scans In my opinion about the rarest format for this crossover biggie. Sound quality much much better than on the UK Psycho release, nice picture sleeve and a big center hole to match your US 45s . This is the second copy I've ever seen or heard of, the other copy is tucked away in my collection. A true rarity Price: 150 GBP o.n.o. 100 GBP Postage in Europe: 3 GBP regular, 5 GBP registered. a bit less for Germany, a bit more for worldwide. Paypal or cash. Thanks for looking! Benji
