  1. Isn't the sales tax only applied for some states, not all? I've noticed several sellers have a small note about tax for certain states. It's a bit odd. Maybe he was just overworked in the holiday season and charged tax without thinking about if he should or not.
  2. It does. Have you given him a US address as shipping address?
  3. and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbLVxjonOXM and https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x10xate_east-of-underground-i-love-you-for-all-seasons-1972-us-funk-soul_music
  4. Still looking.
  5. If you need more info on runouts and what they mean there's a huge thread on the discogs forums where all info is collected.
  6. Do you have one for sale? Send me a PM.
  7. The 321 numbers aren't the same. The full cat. numbers are TC 321 and 70-321. And then there was the gospel album with cat. no. TC 3000. There was also Better World BW 4356 - Southern Trumpets. All the labels are on discogs with scans. https://www.discogs.com/label/242247-Ultra-City https://www.discogs.com/label/194190-Tri-City-2 https://www.discogs.com/label/531850-Moonville-USA https://www.discogs.com/label/119482-Better-World
  8. If you dare to venture into the early 80s there's Breakaway with Paul Garrison on Three Stars.
  9. Oh well. At least it's nice to complete the label run
  10. The best way around it is to add a shipping policy. I've recently added shipping prices for larger quantities and have to say it really did make a difference. And it saves time not having to calculate shipping for each order since discogs instantly sends out automated invoices for my orders.
  11. Cool fast soul tune. Soundfile on one of these mixes: https://shing-a-ling.blogspot.no/ I'd love to know who The Dynamic "O" was. I don't think the songwriter is who it insinuates either.
  12. I recently bought Herman Jackson "Danger Zone" on Anvick and can't find any info other than that it's one of those Greenville related 45's. Any of you have any info? Other releases? Who's Herman Jackson? Is there a vocal version? And anything/everything else...
  13. The "other forum" died out after a short while if I remember correctly. Wasn't it called sixties detroit or something?
  14. Not really, but he uses a different grading scale than you. Meaning that in your scale it would be comparable to Ex.
  15. I used to have parts of my collection as labels in their own boxes, but as they've been completed or abandonded I've merged them with the main collection so now everything is alphabetical. Except the gospel records from the Designer label. Those are separated from the rest. There's one here: https://dailywardrum.blogspot.no/2012/01/interview-with-rob-klein.html
  16. The other option was using a custom label. Like Style Wootens Designer imprint: Google books has this extensive list of U.S. studios from 1972. Including equipment, opening hours and rates: https://books.google.no/books?id=qkUEAAAAMBAJ&pg=RA1-PA50&dq=%22style+wooten%22&hl=no&sa=X&ei=ECYZVYyRM5bmas30gJgD&ved=0CE4Q6AEwBw#v=onepage&q=%22style%20wooten%22&f=false Preview of Detroit studios:
  17. There's a reference to his death here: https://www.sirshambling.com/artists_2012/S/frankie_seay/index.php Maybe he (John Ridley) knows a reliable source.
  18. Some of the best packages to arrive are the thick ones.
  19. Three copies on discogs right now: https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/4072078?ev=rb
  20. This arrived today. I have a scratchy copy on the other label design. It was time to upgrade to something less noisy.
  21. Isn't there oil in baby wipes? If there is it will harden over time making your records sound worse than they look.
  22. This week I've only had this: Flipside's nice too. More on the way, so lots to look forward to.
  23. These days I buy very little on ebay but usually use hammersnipe.com. Mostly by habit. Three free snipes each week, which is enough for me these days.
  24. I think this one is cool. That name ... Jad in company sleeve is pretty hard on the eye. And this is a nice design.
