  1. Count Yates "Chimpanzee" on Regis M- £30 payment by paypal please
  2. current soundfile of record I don't own being played is: Jackie Wilson - A Lovely Way To Die
  3. Are there any albums on this label at all ?
  4. Cheapies are the hardest to find alright. I've never even seen a Raynel Wynglass on Music Merchant for sale with the instrumental version on the flip. All I can find are the double sided demos of which there are plenty.
  5. The key to successful grading is probably to use a good lamp with a bright white light. I've bought too many 45's that were graded in ordinary daylight or worse.
  6. And more (please note the bold text): Annetta - Since there is no more you / Get away boy - love hill Annette Snell - It's all over now / Promises Should Never Be Broken - Epic 50464 (issue, not demo/dj copy) Annette Snell - ? / I'll be your fool once more - Dial 1022 (unconfirmed on this release number) Mar.Vells - Go On And Have Yourself A Ball /How Do I Keep The Girls Away - Angie 1005 Fabulettes - Because Of Love /If The Morning Ever Comes - Kangi 102
  7. A comment should be added about low pressing quality Sounds good, but any grading system will have need for extra comments to be added sometimes. I've had a geat deal of extremly badly graded records from him. Luckily he has an excellent return policy And I have come across other large dealers who are stricter than him (don't know if they can compete with moerer's return policy though).
  8. Also looking for: Mystic Five - You Were Wrong/Sweet Brown Frame - GWS
  9. If anyone has a copy for sale of one of these titles please get in touch: Jodarettes - What's in de box/El torro - jocida 302 Gene Ludwig - Mother blues (inst.)/Blue flame - jocida 303 Bob, Rita & Peter - Bend down low/The truth - jad 211 Johnny Nash - Sweet charity/people in love - jad 215 Groundhog - Blues to take it off by/Take it off - jad 219 Calla 183 The Fuzz - Do Just What You Can / Mr. Heartaches And Miss Tears Next batch: Issue copys ONLY!! Rare 45s

There's that LP only Satisfaction Unlimited track that has appeared on 45 on two test pressings (delta matrix, Hot Wax). A biggie for the future I think ;-)
  11. Thanks, good to have cleared any doubts
  12. I don't really get this. I have what I have thought was a boot (got it too cheap, so I've assumed boot). Label colour is like the original posted above. It has the 'TI' in the deadwax, but the deadwax is only 8mm. It seems to be vinyl (moulded label), the funny thing is that the scratched deadwax etchings are: 'ztsc 103536' and 'ztsc 107537' what's that all about ?
  13. There's been made a lot of stuff based on his books: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001465/ As for movies with soulful soundtracks, this one has one with several Invictus tunes and an opening scene featuring a Laura Lee live performance : And it's filmed in Detroit, naturally.
  14. It would be great to have the clips available again. But remember that when it's on your webspace it will be you they target their lawsuits at if you step on somebodys toes
  15. It's a recent price hike, I think. I barely managed to grab a cheap copy a year ago (which turned out to be well below grade ).
  16. Thanks
  17. I think they're aiming for world domination. They are good at what they do though
  18. Nobody has any thoughts ? I've seen prices that are all over the place, just looking for the current-ish one. Is it still getting played ?
  19. This 45 went on a rollercoaster ride recently (pricewise) what's it selling for now? Barrino Brothers - Trapped In A Love - Invictus
  20. I like Gemm. All my spare records get listed there (as long as they're playable). No fees and it's like having your own little record store. Since I list anything I come across I get a few surprises when seeing what actually sells. Good thing is that I can forget about the whole thing until I get an e-mail that says someone has bought something. Much easier than lists or ebay.
  21. I'd be happy to outbid you on that one
  22. I got lucky with the Juggy 45, only $47 for a minter, but I fear the epic issue will be devastating to my economy And as a completist I'm also looking for the Love Hill 45 that was released a few months before she put the same recordings out on Juggy Never seen one for sale. btw, didn't Buddy Killen join the soul choir in the sky a few months ago ? And she was with epic at the time of that recording so who owns the rights ?
  23. Those are other auctions, these are ebay auctions. There are several ways of doing auctions, none of them are depending on your approval. "True" auctions ? I certainly think you want to win, I just don't think you've understood the rules of the service you are attempting to use. And what about this talk of "bidding again" ? Have you no idea what your max bid is before you start bidding ? It's because I'm such a nice guy you know
  24. You're both right, but don't forget her old groups Fabulettes and Marvells (actually it's one group with two names). Sometimes it's easy to get distracted too, I found myself collecting all the Quiet Elegance 45's because there's kind of a relation between the groups and, well, I got carried away for a while Luckily I managed to stop before starting a complete collection of recordings involving Frankie Gearing Now if I just could find a copy of that epic issue with both songs on it ......
  25. Annette Snell and Bobby Powell so far ..... I'm constantly trying to avoid the completist thought. And always keep a strict 45's only policy.
