  8. I haven't a clue, that's why I'm asking. The only trace I've found of this record on the internet was from an auction advertised as a auction of popcorn records. So what is it ? Beat ballad ? (another category I have no idea what is )
  9. Where's all the popcorn lovers ?
  10. I found a record in my boxes by Paul Hampton, and it sounds like it's a popcorn tune. It's called "It's Not There Anymore" and is on WB. Anyone know it ? Value ?

  12. Any genre, as long as it's a good tune.
  13. That's true. I also seem to remember someone mentioning that the address on the label was all wrong. Heavy, thick , shiny. Stamp looks weird and it has bad sound quality. At the bottom of the label it says "A Grew-vy Production" in a typeface that can only be made on a computer. It could be a bootleg, or possibly a bootleg or even a bootleg. Or maybe it's just a bootleg ?
  14. Anyone know anything about this record label ? Adresses on the label are both JA and Miami. When ? Where ? Who ? What ?
  15. I recently bought one of those, also in a nice decca sleeve but not the same sleeve as yours I should probably make a list of my E.H. wants ...
  16. I am trying really hard not to collect this one (and several other N.O. ), but I do collect Eldridge Holmes so if you come across any cheap copies ...........
  17. I can access it from here, try again.
  18. Sometimes I think my collection is made up of small collections. I collect labels: Invictus/Hot Wax/MM, Joda/Jad/Jomada/Jocida, Designer (gospel), Double Shot/Whiz, and something I can't tell yet Some artists (not always completist): Fabulettes, George Jackson, Bobby Powell, Joneses (45's only), Quiet Elegance Luckily I don't care if it's a issue or wd copy as long as it's not stereo/mono copies, I hate those!
  19. gemm.com recordsbymail.com
  20. If there's still money enough in his paypal account to pay all of you back I'd say he's not much of a fraudster.
  21. That's true. But it's still a useful set of books.
  22. cheapies are rare, at least I can't find some obvious titles, I've been looking for a vocal b/w instrumental 45 by Raynel Wynglass on Music Merchant for at least three years now
  23. I've bought 3 volumes so far. Ordering the 4th next month. Good books, very happy with them even if there are some entries missing here and there. Personally I take note of missing entries and e-mail them to Bob just in case he's going to take the trouble of making a third version of these books
  24. That's because it isn't
