  1. Do you have more ads from shows with The Fabulettes/Marvells?
  2. These tracks were probably not recorded at Invictus. They were probably recorded independently or for another label and leased to Invictus. Just like the Satisfaction Unlimited album.

  5. Is Steve Colt and The Fabulous Counts on Miranda soul or rockabilly? I can't find any info on this record. Year? Miranda discography?
  6. I'd rather have a drill hole in the run-in than the run-out as one of my atlantic 45s has. Every time I play it I have to run to the record player to save the needle at the end.
  7. List them all on ebay with a low start bid. You'll get a decent price and if you list them all at once you won't be able to change your mind.
  8. I've had IBAN from a US bank. First attempt failed cos the bank didn't know what it was. Second attempt was successful. The fees can be paid by sender or receiver or shared between both.

  12. Six months is nothing. Keep looking. I need to upgrade a record I have that I can't discuss because it is clearly too obscure. Only copy I have ever heard of is my own. And it's too cool to keep to myself so I really need to find a better copy so I can talk about it. Been looking for a couple of years now...

  14. I found this on ebay a couple of years ago. It says: "Lots of luck. Best wishes from Eldridge Holmes" Unfortunately it doesn't say who the recipient was. Other side is also signed with best wishes.
  15. I did a quick comparison and they sound similar to me. The deadwax markings are: 9073: 908071A-1-D-1 GM DET 9080: 90807A1-5 HDHSSI dennis BVH

  17. Isn't the original quote from Jerry Wexlers autobiography?
  18. I've put a handful of nice records up on the bay: https://shop.ebay.com...=&_trksid=p3686 Take a look
  19. The only time I've been robbed was while doing a purchase from a soul sourcer ...
  20. There is a 45 by Bonnie Graham listed as Sure Shot 101. I would assume that this is a different label, but would very much like to see a scan of the Bonnie Graham if anyone has one.
  21. Soul Harmony Singles isn't always reliable and soulfulkindamusic confirmes that they did not record while using The Passionettes as a name. Little is known about the group on Path. Considering these girls only recorded one album I'd be surprised if they forgot any recordings they did.
  22. The girls denied ever recording as The Passionettes when they were asked during a discussion on soulfuldetroit.com. Apparently they did use the name but only went in the studio as The Fuzz. The group on Path is another outfit.
  23. R&B Indies has no Logo 502 listed. But they claim the 500-series was released 1963-64.
  24. It has no official release. Judging from the soundfile it must have been recorded after the lp. Probably just before the label closed down and Michael Love Smith moved on to his next label.
