  1. Impossible to pick his best the man made so many great records probably the most consistent and loved artist of all time but these two always crack me up It's madness + Thats enough . Both touched with genius .
  2. Great to have a few album buyers on ss which seems 45 orientated , which i appreciate because its mainly a northern site . Buts its nice to partake in something a little different . Keep em coming i,ll try to check out the albums i do not know.

  6. Can anyone tell me who recorded a song with the same backing track as Festival Time. Not Laura Lee,this had like a DJ type of thing going on rapping singing about the Motown sound. I remember it getting plays at the Trakky club in Barnsley . THANKS

  13. I once played Something new to do, to a workmate who had a liking for soul .After taking off the earphones i asked him what he thought, thinking he,d be blown away ,his words were sounds like Neil Sedaka . And he was right to my ears , now whenever i hear it played Oh Carol comes to mind.
