  5. My all time fave LP is DORIS DUKES I,M A LOSER . Awesome LP but not for the faint hearted , as a LP collector there are hundreds of LPS i keep going back to but even though i,ve owned the DORIS DUKE LP since the seventies it still moves me to this day . Great songs , great singer , great production pure DEEP SOUL perfection .

  7. I Assume it got a single release if not it can be found on MOTORCITY MEMORIES , its pretty dire and predictable as are most Levine produtions Memories And Souvenirs by Freda Payne is nice though .
  8. I first came across the term when it was used by Rod Dearlove in Voices From The Shadows , to describe records from 68 onwards to mid seventies. Records of midtempo with strings .

  10. The Blossoms were the favoured back up vocalists of producer Johnny Rivers , so Darlene Love could be a suspect .

  13. According to a Barbara Lynn CD with i own the Atlantic single is the reissue.
  14. I agree as i replied earlier never thought my copy was a original , bought it from local record shop .
  15. If it is legit and not a reissue its led a charmed life in my collection cos i binned nearly all my lookalikes years ago. I,m still not convinced on this one though i bought mine from my local record shop early in the 70s .
