  1. A tremendous voice as smooth as silk R.I.P Bill Love this track
  2. I still remember the shock on hearing this tragic news , one of my favourite artists , glad I had the chance to see him live . Favourite track of his to many too mention but this one still gets me .
  3. Thanks posting Mike , fantastic , a true great .
  4. I will nominate Johnnie Taylor a true great and this track is fairly topical with it featuring in the latest Mercedes Benz ad. Also the man live !
  5. All alone by the telephone Lonely heart in the city Helpless Rescue me Torture Going out of my head Nowhere to run I got the fever It's rough out there The panic is on
  6. Do not know about the death part but it has been reported a large amount of records and DJ equipment stolen from a house in Skegness on 20th of February. Google Skegness news it is reported on the local paper website , sorry I do not know how to do links on my tablet yet. Too late , already answered above.
  7. This packs a punch .
  8. All for seeing live acts it is great to see our heroes in the flesh but these two groups now are as Chalky says are no more than a tribute act. I saw the Four Tops at the Fiesta Club and at The Sheffield City Hall and the Dennis Edward led Temps at the City Hall plus the Ruffin, Kendricks , Edwards gig at the Doncaster Dome who also had David Sea on backing vocals. I would not pay a tenner to see the current groups.
  9. Another winner from Otis , love this .
  10. Great track from a great artist and a great lp . Otis cut wonderful tracks across all the decades a sadly missed artist
  11. Coming to a working men's club near you ! Oh fu*k it already has. And why are polo shirts worn tucked in by old guys , strictly for the young and slim.
  12. Tragic news for the New Year , Had a couple of conversations with Lorraine by pm, a lovely lady and a talented singer, songwriter , producer. R.I..P Lorraine .
  13. I would second the sunflower hearts in feeders , no waste and suet pellets for non seed eaters , I am sorry to say I have not seen a Song Thrush in my garden for years which due to the abundance of snails in my garden is a shame because its song is a delight. Sorry for taking the focus off the wonderful photographs.
  14. Thanks Steve. Happy New Year to you. I do not take photographs but I would encourage soulsourcers to feed the birds , it is so rewarding, in my urban garden I have managed to see Goldfinch, Robin , various Tits , 1 Blackcap amongst others and also the sight of a Sparrowhawk swooping for the Goldfinches It is well worth the expense. ,
  15. Keep up the good work , the wildlife photographs on here are stunning and a credit to all .
  16. No idea , here's the back cover you may have more idea.
  17. The CD with the added tracks.
  18. Sounds right , Mars label I think. I plead ignorance my lord buying a bootleg .
  19. Do not know if I am barking up the wrong tree here but I have a CD of Deons material which in includes Someday The Sun Will Shine plus all the tracks posted above.
  20. Think by the great videos posted Ronnie was very underated and I have enjoyed the videos posted
  21. John Manship hit the nail on the head above saying if you want to make sure you are buying originals buy from reputable dealers , you may pay a bit more but better that than only to find out later you bought a boot. As for the buying of boots for home listening with the amount of legit re- released vinyl and thousands of great CD compilations there is just no need.
  22. That was the point I was trying to make in my post earlier , anybody buying these boots thinking they are getting an original must be stupid. They are buying them to play at home and know what they are getting like most of people buying boots in the seventies.
