Martyn, the last time I went to Kings Hall was 2001 maybe a bit later? I attended it regular, as it had a fantastic modern room, and the main room was just as awesome. I loved both rooms, and by the sounds of it, i'd still love both rooms (I like it all) There was a time when I'd be at a nighter every weekend, but not any more. Well said Carms There's far too many prophets trying to preach that "their" way is the right way I'm not saying that "their" way is the wrong way, just most of us like to swing both ways or swing all ways and why not!! People should learn to be more tolerant of each other, and other's ways, for chuffs sake we've all got "soul" in common. It's ridiculous, & I even felt the need the other day to justify that my wearing and dancing (well, dancing in a fashion ) in heels doesn't make me any less a lover of soul. It's barmy, and I feel even barmier for being drawn into this, when really all I should do is stick "two fingers up" at the posts I don't like and move on. I watched it too. I wasn't intending to watch it all (all 3 hours 45 mins of it !!!) but I was gripped by some of the performances, and the tributes made by her family & friends in this Private service. It was very commendable of Cissy Houston to allow one camera in, she didn't have to, she didn't owe us a part of her daughter, but she gave us that, & I thought it was beautiful. Rest in Peace Miss Houston x
