That is a great shame. I am a regular attendee of the Upnorth Promotions "Southport Weekenders" that were held at Pontins in erm Southport, and although Upnorth were guaranteed, by the administrators, that the May 2011 event would go ahead, Upnorth took the decision to pull out of Pontins and re-located to Butlins In Minehead. Which for me, who has been attending & staying in those grotty chalets since 1991, was a complete shock, met with sadness and great reservations. However after just getting back from Pontins Butlins I am happy to say that the Southport vibe lives on .... just in Minehead, so try not despair too much, where-ever you decide to lay your hat, the party will continue. Good luck in finding a new home Ali x
