The world of Northern Soul will be an emptier place without Sue on that dance floor and a big void ahead of capturing on camera; the enjoyment of folk at the venues. Rest in Peace Sue xx

Just heard the sad news about Sue. Like others have said Sue loved her soul events and taking photos of everyone enjoying themselves. Will be another empty place on that dancefloor but everyone will remember her for her unique dancing and friendliness x My thoughts are with her family and friends R.I.P Skippy Sue xx

Civic centres had the best dance floors. Heywood being one of them. Love the Longfield Suite at Prestwich. Think that is a civic one too?

Jud used to be about at most venues. Never once did I see him being intrusive with his camera. Always saw it at hip height and focusing on the dancers. Shame he has stopped doing it. Most folk on the scene are glad with the fact if wasn't for the likes of Glynis Elgey etc at Wigan there wouldn't be any images of the fabulous times throughout the past years of Northern Soul.

The topic started off asking if future weekenders will be cancelling. Just wondering which ones do you class as run by amateurs? Prestatyn, Bridlington, Blackpool Tower/Winter Gardens, Cleethorpes ?

I say keep calm and carry on until further advice from the powers that be and keep the economy going. Attending Prestatyn, Bridlington and Leeds Detroit a go go and will be socialising as usual

Another great night at Culcheth with great sets from all the djs and with fab company.Only downside was the journey home. Motorway shut 10-12 and 15-18 ended up going through Bolton and Bury but see you next time

Oh dear Just seen it on BBC player but clicked off half way through his stint. Seems a lovely man but another example of how the Northern scene is seen by the masses.

We saw this crescent on our way home and didn't realise the bright star next to it was Venus. We commented it looked like a scene from the Christmas story. Chuffed now to know what that bright star was. Fabulous photo too
