Definitely hasn't changed my mind

I spent the night in a cell due to getting into a stolen car from Halifax. The lad driving it said he had borrowed it off his mate and we didn't know any different till he stalled it at the lights at Ince and then did a runner when the cops flashed us over. wasn't very impressed at the time but maybe I shouldn't have been that naive.

Only missed two times in the two and a half years I went there, and that was only because I had flu.I wouldn't be that obsessed these days. The true is I was frightened of missing something

For me it was my older brother turning on the cassette player after him being out and making me listen to this different kind of soul. I'd always liked the mainstream but this was totally different. Managed to watch two songs hid behind a cushion and why was he tapping his backside when singing? Always the same Z celebrities at every "A night with" event. plus he doesn't have a singing voice never mind a soulful one.

Thanks for your time replying to the posts regarding this year's event. I do have my concerns regarding the dance floor in Redemption, however love the company,music genres in all the rooms- think we went in all of them last year and although I say never again each year(due to lack of sleep,liver fatigue!!) still keep coming back for more. Our group are not all into Northern so we divide our time equally so everyone has a good week end.

Snake Davis and his band are fantastic. Saw them at King Georges Hall Blackburn but still couldn't bring myself to dance. Have just been used to watching bands and to be honest; deep down would feel awkward getting up.

My most favourite DJ at Wigan and always look forward to his spot at Prestatyn each year.The floor is always rammed.That says to me how much people appreciate him.

Some good valid points brought up here and like you say the week end isn't cheap. Although personally I love the Redemption room, but the dance floor isn't ideal; with the jointed sections.Last year although it is always dark in there it seemed more so with the bottle bar not being open.Felt like blind Pugh on the dance floor but do feel it may lose its atmosphere if it were to change to the Modern Room
