  1. Looking back at the video, I posted it in 2009. Where the hell has that time gone! It wouldn't show up in a search as I never added the artists name or song title. I had a couple of copies of the disc.
  2. Nice to see Johnny Dixon on a playlist.
  3. Not sure how may have pressing faults but can say the copies I have owned played through fine. All were from the same source. As for price, this is a 45 that can be often found for $10-$12 on ebay.
  4. The boundarys between sunshine pop, soft psych, bubblegum pop are very blurred.............where are the sunshine pop police when you need them?
  5. Agree 100%. Typing "sunshine pop" in as a youtube search will yield far better examples of the genre.
  6. Recently eBay Global Shipping option seems to be getting more common by the day. The words "nail" and "coffin" spring to mind.
  7. Enjoyed reading these spins so here's a few I played at home this evening: Both sides of the La Familia Inc - Finally LP. To me at least the LP cut of Do You Love Me sounds better than the 45, better fidelity. The B side of J.E. Morgan's Rhythm and Blues Album, the first track of which, Child, I played about ten times. Followed this up with a few 45's pulled fairly randomly from a box: The Blossoms - It's All Up To You + Touchdown The Mighty Marvelows - In The Morning Billy Stewart - Keep Loving Lil Bob & the Lollipops - Who Needs You So Bad John Woodson - Before Frankie Newsom - Taunting Love Latin Breed - Rainy Day True Movement - What A Lovely Way To Meet
  8. Okeh promos look pretty cool.
  9. Feel free to get in touch if you are looking for a copy.
  10. Nate Williams - She's A Woman Spoken intro then Wham.
  11. I would have thought £40 for the issue copy (Column CO226 / CO227) with Here I Go Again is fair. Promo copies have Destination Heart Ache both sides so I guess will be less desirable as Here I Go Again is a good tune in it's own right. Motorcitymusic had a quantity of this 45 but these have long since dried up. Craig Moerer has a copy at $125 so JM is on the high side. Incidentally, the version of Destination Heartache, note no gap between Heart and Ache, on the Sugar To Dirt 45 (Column CO228 / CO229) is a different take and IMHO very poor so this 45 is just good for the Sugar To Dirt side.
  12. A couple of my own personal favourites from Smokey 007 and his Exciters
  13. It's Rare Bread not Breed Alan. I have a mint- Demo copy but am away at the moment. If you have no luck feel free to send me a PM first week in September.
  14. Mine are filed pretty much in order of purchase. I will buy a small case second hand and once it is full repeat the process.
  15. Would love to see a couple of photos of your hand-made "company covers.
  16. Unfortunately they are a necessity as the rest of the household do not share my passion for playing records into the small hours.
  17. I listen to my records almost every night & always through headphones. Tend to keep them in small cases of fifty or so & once I get fed up with one case will swap it for another randomly seleced. Any new purchases are kept around my hi fi and played repeatedly until they get boxed up.
  18. Greg Belsons post is spot on. Basically if you are going to have a lot of content on your channel then you MUST keep an eye on the notifications because ultimately any strikes will eventually add up leading to your channel being pulled. I don't have a large number of uploads on my channel but have still had to delete no end of videos over the years due to copyright. Over the years that I've been using youtube I've lost count of the number of channels which have been lost for reasons of copyright. At one point Orchard Music were laying claim to everything in sight and I was getting an email every week regarding one or another of my videos. This eventually stopped but I guess if it isn't Orchard somebody similar will fill the void.
  19. Just to add some more weight to expected value here is a copy of the 45 which sat on ebay for quite some time as a "buy it now" before it sold - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACCIDENTALS-These-Days-2-20-Losers-Advice-U-S-7-7-1967-Harbor-Records-7-7953-/161476553567?nma=true&si=z9MwCi%252FUKBxMOxPxfTn%252FKXcXYpc%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 I passed it up due to the VG grading.
  20. You have probably seen that there is copy for sale on discogs, but @£300 I would wait a while.
  21. Uncommon but not rare. Turns up on ebay but usually not in the best shape circa £25 - £50. Although not really a dancer it is sold as "northern" or "blue eyed soul" and I guess is "known", if not widely. Here is a link to some info regarding the 45 and the band - https://www.duluthbudgeteer.com/content/duluth-rocked-band-reuniting-two-harbors-gig
  22. Here's a Carolinas beach music tune I posted on youtube by Salty Miller of the Monzas.
  23. Old thread now but I mentioned the Marvin Henfield version of the song and just spotted someone had posted the 45 on youtube so for reference purposes here it is -
  24. What a great group, where do you begin. A personal fave would be To You With Love
