  9. Glad you got sorted for the 45 and welcome to soul source. Question for wveryone. What's the going rate for this on 45 now?
  10. Hiya got the album in pretty minty condition for £100 if you're interested in a big copy.
  11. Some items from previous list just waiting for a good home. All on set sale so get em while they're hot. And before anyone says it - yes they were all for sale for a fiver in 1975 LOL. As you know (and complained about in the past) I'll only post up tunes as sold once I've received the money. I'LL NOT BE HOLDING ANY TUNES so if you email and say you want it it's only fair that I sell once I've got the dosh. First come, first served. CHEERS I'll try to get back to people as quickly as I can but I've got a really busy week coming up so might be a bit delayed in replying. Any comments on the sales conditions, record gradings etc are not only welcome they're actively encouraged. I'll take paypal for 'em all but you'll have to pay the fees - cheques must be cleared and cashed before records are released Tiny topsy - Just a little Bit - Federal Issue VG++ £400 Del Davis - Baby don’t wake me — Trojan VG++ £250 Bernard Williams - It’s needless to say - Harthon VG+++ £350 Minnie Jones - Shadow of a memory - Sugar VG++ £500 Betty Wilson - I’m yours - Dayco - VG (Scuffy label and light crackle but fine for djing) £750 Vikki Styles - The tears won’t stop falling - Odex VG++ £1000 Andrea Henry — I need you like a baby — MGM (yellow DJ) — VG++ - £250 Incredibles — There’s nothing else to say - Audio Arts VG+ (some scuffs on label and vinyl) plays with a few light clicks — great for djing - £125 Bobby Hutton - Come see what’s left of me — Philips (white DJ) - VG++ - £200 George Kirby — What can I do — Cadet — VG++ - £350 Raj — Something inside — Oak Tree — VG++ - £175 Sandra Philips - I wish I had known — Okeh (white DJ) - VG++ - £250 Charles McCoy — Let’s talk it over/Hello blues - AMC — VG++ £150 Betty Lavette - You made a believer out of me — Epic — VG+ (few light pops — great for djing) - £125 Gene Barbour — I need a love — Hit — VG++ (writing on label) - £180 Posse — Evil — Janus (white DJ) — VG++ £75
  12. Bids as they stand are listed in top post in red. Finishing tonight folks. Cheers Warren
  13. .I've updated the prices based on current bids. I'll close this off on Fri at 7pm
  14. OK I've finally managed to get the pics and soundfiles up on the post. I've also completely rewritten the descriptions so that there's absolutely no confusion with what your getting. I'd suggest that those of you that have put in a bid so far listen to the soundfiles and recontact me IF you're still interested. Quite understand if anyone pulls out.
  15. Trying to do my best to get pics and soundfiles of the tunes up but proving a bit more taxing than I thought. That's the reason I've not replied to any of the bids in so far so don't think I've forgotten and I hope to them all done by Tuesday. Ta for your patience folks.
  16. Got a few tunes that I can pass on that have some flaws that obviously affect their values. They are all open to offers above the mimimum price I have listed and at some stage within the week i'll put up some soundfiles and label shots so you know what you're getting. They are are on original vinyl and described as accurately as possible.I've updated the prices based on current bids. I'll close this off on Fri at 7pm Celest Hardy - Your gone - Reynolds - £175 This has clcks and pops all the way through most noticably in the first thrid of the tune. Bacon fat is probably the best description and I've dj'd with it with the treble turned down a bit to dull it but is still noticable. Plays without skipping tho. Labels in tact but a bit grubby and vinyl has scratches and scuffs on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuxGOHPVrqQ Flirtations - Stronger than her love - Red Festival £250 This is on the rare RED label issue and plays great apart from the styrene burn 10 secs at the start of the 'Stronger' side. Label and vinyl are viually VG++ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_VPdOoNrvE Jades - I'm where its at - Nite Life - White demo - £165 Label is visually VG with some writing on it but intact. The problem with this is that there are TWO cracks - one that that runs through the whole of the vinyl. These have been expertly repaired so it plays all the way through without skipping at all but needle does jump slightly when it goes over the crack. I've dj'd with this loads of times and you wouldn't notice it over a sound system BUT I noticed a click when the needle goes over the crack. You can hear it on the soundfile. I'd now describe the sound as VG- to give it it's accurate grading. B side is unplayable as its got a bit of metal stuck to it to repair the crack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNFE90CPH4M I hope I've described them so there's no confusion. Don't have a problem with comments on my prices and conditions but let me get the soundfiles done before I answer sound quality queries. Cheers folks
  17. Bids currently updated. Don'tforget finishes Friday 7pm
  18. I'll try to get some pics up this week and perhaps a soundfile if my technology holds up. Cheers
  19. Think I've updated the confusion. Cheers for the feedback.
  20. Hiya Taking offers on the following, not so unsubstantial, items. I'm doing this as an auction on the tunes and will update as I get offers in. Will update on the offers up to Friday at 7pm and the hightest offer at that time gets it. All in VG++ condition (unless indicated) and will be up there till Friday at 7pm. Little Tommy - Baby can't you see. - Sound of soul - min bid £800 (WOL - couple of felt pen crosses on A-side) Maurice Williams - Being withou you - Deesu - (gold lettering) - min bid £175 Morris Chestnut - Too darn soulful - Amy DJ (label reversed) -min bid £250 Monique - Never let me go/If you love me - Maurci (Gold label) - min bid £460 Cheers
  21. I've updated the list with the ones that I've sold. It would appear that I've sold some of them CHEAP but can I assure my adoring public that will definitely not be happening again. LOL I've had enquiries on most of the list but as I originally stated I'll only list a track as sold once I've got the money. Some of you might need to be a bit quick on these if you want 'em. Cheers Warren
  22. Hiya I'm offering up some real juicy tunes for sale. I'm financing a recent purchase so as soon as I've got my dosh I'll close the sale. The way it works is that I'll only post up that tunes have been sold when I've received the money. I'LL NOT BE HOLDING ANY TUNES so if you email and say you want it I'll let you know if anyone else has offered and then the first to get payment to me gets the record. I'll try to get back to people as quickly as I can but I've got a really busy week coming up so might be a bit delayed in replying. Any comments on the sales conditions, record gradings etc are not only welcome they're actively encouraged.
