  1. Just like to say, Nige was a top chappie and always had a smile on his face. We all have our own little stories to tell, but for now words fail me at the minute as still gob smacked. Big THANKS go out to Nige Brown and Nige Shaws family for such a brilliant send off and everyone who attended. This was a night to remember............ I'm sure that 'Shawry' if known in advance that he would have sold tickets, I know that he would be laughing at that comment know and come up with some funny remark. You are sadly missed and I'll be playing some tunes at home in rememerance when you use to come around with the beer. R.I.P. MY FRIEND Shute
  2. I remember the south end club and the north end club both run by Alan Johnson who now runs the queen hall niters in Burslem stoke-on-trent We both use to run Nantwich niters in the late 90s

  18. Ok you guys, input needed on the above topic 1. Is there a call for this ? 2. Is it worth puttin' on a venue to play this sort of music within the soul scene ? I know that they are around at weekenders, but thats a different crowd, isn't it ???? Reason for asking is that we (staffssoulsociety) are running one later this year or are we throwing money away ?????????
