Ok Chalky, on the subject of the Servicemen are there any better double siders than the Wind Hit and Chartmaker releases. Absolute quality. If there are any more details about the CD release drop me a line as this group more than any other in my opinion delivered top quality music every time.I believe that they were all serving Airmen hence the name. its listed on Manships as the Magicians on Chartmaker 408 so i'm a bit confused. i know that the Wind hit release had James Mitchell on lead vocals and that the Chartmaker release had a different lead but that's it. thanks for the reply CHALKY. REGARDS H

I had a conversation with the mother in law over the weekend which basically went like this. she said " i really love Motown and stuff like the Temptations but cannot stand that Northern stuff you play". (now i must state that she is really into all forms of music and buys cd's every week and also attends gigs etc on a regular basis but has no real musical style,just whatever seems to be in at the time) I replied that the reason that she did'nt like Northern is that she had closed her ears to it and not really given it a chance. what i need from you good people of soul source is say six tracks that will ease her into the northern side of things. suggestions please.
