    Well a busy one last month for our Anniversary big thanks to djs and punters alike for supporting us for the year here's to the nex one,this months guest runs a successful event in Heywood at the Reform Club which i had the privilege to be their guest for last week so i'm sure with when i saw ROY KITSON perform he will do the same for us here at the Home Guard,alas a member of our regular team will not be here as he is sunning himself up south of the border with lovely grandkids in tow best of Andy , so 4 and a half hours of soul we may have a surprise dj but reality is i'm sure WAYNE BUTTERWORTH AND MYSELF can cope,it's a 7.30 start midnight finish ,large car park bus route and stop right outside the venue ,massive wooden dance floor reasonable priced bar ,we allow talc in moderation to be used come on show your face if you have not been before a night of Northern,Motown and right across the board SOUL ....LATERS

    With just around 8 events on in surrounding nearby areas,i have attended this from the very first one and it has gone on from strength to strength to the fact it today was packed to the rafters ,friendly happy go lucky atmosphere,music and FREE, the deejays did a splendid job of 'keeping the floor',Dave & Steve are doing a cracking job of filling this venue so if you are planning to get here i suggest getting there early to grab a seat and table with a guest on every month what more can you ask for ????? p.s well done to today's guest Tony cracking set

    Bit of a quarry with this ,I've contacted ebay their answer is ,seller has restricted loads and at the same time blocked people from contacting him Ebay say poss by mistake ny adding me to his his large list ,I've never dealt with this seller in my life I certainly do not know him personally so the reply on bidding is you are unable to purchase this item due to restrictions from the seller please contact the seller for more information (3008) so wondering if anyone else has had this seller I'd modboy3 ps ebay final ploy was to get someone or use another account to contact him to bid/or find out why seems ridiculous his loss not mine !!
