    Well debut by Mark Doherty went very well with the crowd ,nice to see some youngsters from the Bolton area in too taking the dance floor by storm ,this month, Andy Reedy is once again on grandad duties , so we invite the grandads and wives club to the fore Vance and Linda Butterworh whom run collectively the carlton in prestwich, soul nights and rnb alldayers ,and both partake in helping out at the Spitfire club with Pete Eccles, which is a very successful Sunday soul outing ,take to our stage once again ,both with their own inimitable style Wayne Shed Butterworth and myself will be in attendance playing the best in soul music on pure vinyl ,it's a 7.30 kick off £4 entrance ,reasonably priced bar ,large car park bus stop right outside the venue ,best bit large wooden dance floor and talc within reason supplied it's christmas so let's make it merry xx
