  8. Once again a new month, brings another busy period, on the Soul Calendar. We cannot thank the Ashton Faithful enough for the overwhelming support and appreciation for what we offer at Ashton Ukrainian Club!! Our next event Saturday July 20th brings another Quality DJ line up!! Ted Massey is back with us, expect a fine array of 60s/70s Soul, from The Super Rare, to the "it's too good not to play" regardless of monetary value. Chris Dab of Soul Anderton returns for a highly anticipated set, with a dip into the playlists of the Iconic 90s venues, like Bretby and Albrighton, mixed in with a healthy sprinkling of Crossover/70s soul!! Former Lifeline Resident Karl Chalky White, always has a few surprises in his playlist, with maybe a few unissued gems thrown in for good measure. All action Personal Trainer Stu Cheetham is chomping at the bit, to get back behind the decks, the usual adrenaline fuelled dancers for those who like to hit the floor early doors!!! Phil Dunn will be opening proceedings to get you "in the mood" for another five and a half hours of music with that indefinable "it" factor!! We might even shuffle the pack and put "The Finisher" Chris Churm (if you know, you know) earlier on in the night, watch this space!!!   15. As the month of June draws to a close, we look forward to our Saturday July 20th instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club !! Another all star line up, booked to bring an Eclectic mix of Rare and Under Played Soul in all it's Guises!! Our good friend Ted Massey will be back with us and you can be sure he won't disappoint, check out the thread regularly, for a few sample sound bites for The Ashton Faithful to wear out some shoe leather on the night!! DAB of Soul Supremo Chris Anderton will be playing the ultimate blend from the days of Bretby, Albrighton and more!! Karl Chalky White is always sure to spring a few surprises from The Lifeline Niters to those quality 70s dancers, you didn't know you wanted to dance to. Add to that our resident Personal Trainer Stu Cheetham, who will be bringing his all action dancing style and energy to his stint behind the decks, so watch out for that early doors sure to get our regular "early birds" up and at it on the dancefloor!! Pinning it all together Team Ukrainian Residents Phil Dunn and Lord Ashton AKA Chris Churm, complete another impressive DJ line up. The night runs 7pm-00.30 and just £5 admission pay on the door.   23. Lots of interest in this event, a great way to see out the month of June. A recession busting £2 gets you in!! Always a busy day, kicking off at 2pm, but lots usually arriving before that, so get there early!! Culcheth's "So Soulful Saturday" Maestro Steve Plumb, myself and Hull City Soul's Steve Oxburgh guesting this month, joining residents Roman, Dave Ferguson, Jill Davidson, Wendy + Lodgy. A great mix of music, covering all the bases!! See you there!!
