In tonight's show I was joined by Mick Howard from Heywood, a much respected collector and DJ of long standing. It's been ages since guest DJs have come into the studio to show off their recent purchases and dance floor plays. It was great fun so look out for a variety of guest collectors and DJs over the course of the next few months. I've already started making a list of names.

I've asked Mick to send me the details of the records he played so as soon as they arrive I'll tag them into this thread. Also I'm aiming to post details of the 45s I played by the end of the afternoon....

Rita Decosta - Don't bring me down.. love it as a tune but try and bloody dance to it... (in time I mean)

Pat Powdrill was a killer even back in the 70's. What about the Triumphs -I'm coming to your rescue.

Or a class tune that is just the wrong tempo to dance to The Empires - You're On Top Girl. Just love this but a hard one to dance comfortably to.

The mother of them all,gotta be.......combinations "whatcha' gonna do" should carry a government health warning,also seriously bad for your bank account,if you can ever find one,lol

not heard the US issue,got the UK one,supposed to be a faster take,the record is actually a speeded up version of his other release "save the baby" the label name escapes me at the minute

picked a copy up at lowton for £30,put a few searches in with no luck,right place,right time I suppose
