Well on an another busy weekend on the soul calendar, Ashton Ukrainian Club was running a week later than our usual third saturday. Pleasantly surprised to see a healthy turn out already as the doors opened. Great to see Calvin Lee Hughes and Sarah King making the long journey from Llandudno for the night, love the action video shots Darren Carroll and our very own Lounge Lizard was front of house in the lounge!! The night was a slow burner to start, but soon kicked into gear, nice early set from Phil Dunn. John Hillel looked like he was having a ball back behind the decks. Mixed Feelings "sha la la lit the dancefloor up. Gis Southworth followed, Ruby Winters "better" a pretty good start point and the quality spins flowed, all topped off with a fighter pilot helmet certainly turned a few heads lol. West Midlands maestro John Weston followed playing a great and varied set Foreign Blue Rennaisance, being the stand out track for me personally. Paul Johnson was again pure class, with a breath taking mix of the known and WOW not heard that in ages set, quality as ever sir!! Lord Ashton Chris Churm did an awesome last set Marshall Donovan and Broomfield for an opener was off the scale. Chris was on fire, I had to remind him we were running ten minutes after time ooops . Keep your eye on the Soul-source events page and on here for more details of our next event saturday May 20th for another stellar DJ line up!!

A slight change to tomorrows line up. Unfortunately Geoff Buckley can't make tomorrow night. We have a more than able replacement, Ashton Regular John Hillel has stepped into the breach. See you all tomorrow
