We arrived about 7.45pm bodies in already, for the 8pm start, always a good sign. We dipped in and out of the main and modern room, throughout the night. Got to say both rooms were rocking. Great retro modern soul set from Steve Plumb Melvin Moore, Wee" try me" Anthony White "hey baby" and many more. Hats off to Baz for the ground work and promotion to make this another must attend event on the first Saturday of the month!!

Saturday September 16th is the date for your diary. We welcome back John Parker from across the Pennines and the hugely successful Blind Pig sessions quality rare soul 45s across The Soul Spectrum guaranteed!! Another reason for an early arrival is Stockport's finest Simon Ingham who will be doing a rare early doors spot(no warm ups here) Phil Dunn is back with us setting the mood for the evening ahead!! Bolton's Derek Watmough is back with us, a varied and always appreciated set is assured!! Along with Geoff Stubbs, Ashton main man Chris Churm completes another top drawer line up for The Ashton Faithful. We keep saying this every month, but the support and feedback speaks volumes for the event, many thanks, it really is appreciated!!! The night runs 7pm-00.30 and in these inflationary times we're in £5 pay on the door is an absolute bargain!! As ever please keep checking back on the soul-source event page thread, for a flavour of what we're all about and if you haven't yet sampled the clubs heady atmosphere , you will not be disappointed!!

Lots of interest in this event, looking like a cracker and maybe an early arrival is advised. One of my personal favourites from the early days at Wigan and still yet to have it's day!!
