The sun is shining and the weekend is nearly on us and an astonishing response to our August date at Ashton Ukrainian Club, on a super busy event page on the Soul Calendar!!

Saturday August 19th the Ashton Faithful will be gathering at The Ukrainian Club for another quality evening of rare and underplayed Soul.

The night runs 7pm-12.30, a mere £5 admission gets you in and you need to arrive early to catch the "mighty Failsworth two" Stu Cheetham kicks things off and he's so excited his hair has started growing back lol , no let up in the pace as Debbie Carty will be smashing out high octane dance floor dynamite and so many people are coming down for her spot(no pressure, Debs)

Top of the night this month, that man Chic Mullineux will be playing right across the Soul Spectrum, some you'll know and some you didn't know you wanted to dance to!!

So pleased to welcome Tony Mac back behind the decks, quality all the way!! Lord Ashton Chris Churm and myself complete the line up!!

Don't forget to check out thread for quality selections from this months guests. Please feel free to RSVP the event!!

Only just over a week to go to our next date at Ashton Ukrainian Club and given that it's another super busy weekend , we are proud to see the amount of interest, already, in what is shaping up to be a real special night!!!

Saturday August 19th we swing back into action, with an eclectic mix of DJs to suit all tastes, playing right across the rare soul spectrum. Headlining this month Chic Mullineux another quality DJ, with an amazing collection, you know it's gonna be good.

Lots of interest in the lady playing those "twisted grooves" Debbie Carty, dancefloor dynamite guaranteed!! Along with Failsworth's numero uno fitness trainer and non too shabby DJ Stu Cheetham!!

Lots of positive feedback for Tony Mac's return behind the decks, after a blinding spot, earlier this year!!

Ashton Ukrainian originator and leading light Chris Churm and Mick Howard complete the line up.

We hit the ground running  early doors with Stu setting the mood and that unique atmosphere, that so many people have commented on!! So just one more reason for you to arrive early. Please check out the event page thread, below for a sample of the vinyl delights awaiting!!

The night runs 7pm-00.30 and just £5 admission(how do we do it??)
