Staggering response yet again for our March instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club!! Saturday March 16th is just around the corner, another eventful year at the little club, that packs a big punch with a playlist to rival most All-nighters!! Alan Jenkins will be WOWING us once more with a prime assortment of Big Hitters and seldom played gems, right across the rare soul spectrum. Some big news regards future dates and guest DJs and our resident personal trainer and Team Ukrainian regular Stu Cheetham has got a special memento from the anniversary night, well worth picking up!! So lots to look forward to. Wilxy will be making his Ukrainian Club debut, bringing a hefty slice of the motor city in his playbox!! Luci Jones fresh from the recent sell out date at "The Gathering" will be back behind the decks, please check back on the thread on here regularly, for a snippet of what's on offer and feel free to RSVP the event !! Phil Dunn as ever opens the proceedings !! Chris Churm and Mick Howard complete another quality line up for the Ashton Faithful!! Please arrive early to guarantee a slice of the main room action!! The lounge area is the place to be, to chat and maybe purchase that elusive piece of soulful vinyl!! Admission a very reasonable £5 pay on the door, running 7pm-00.30 see you there!!

Well it's February 29th and we're leaping towards the next Ashton Ukrainian Club!! Saturday March 16th can't come quick enough ,judging by the messages and feedback already on our soul-source event page thread, please check out the thread regularly for some classy guest DJ selections and feel free to RSVP the event. We are constantly amazed at the new faces in attendance, joining the Ashton Brethren, a few asking about the best time to arrive, as the main room gets busy real quick, so as ever please arrive early!!! More news on the night and in the lead up to the event ,about some amazing DJs from the rare soul scene, for the coming months, we aim to please!!! Alan Jenkins will making the long journey South from Falkirk, as our headline Guest DJ!! Heading up to join us is our good friend Wilxy, who turned up some real stunning selections on the much missed BVAN sessions, look forward to that!! Luci Jones resident DJ at the ultra popular "The Gathering" sessions, will be upping the atmosphere and tempo from her all action selections, aimed firmly at the dance floor!!! Ashton Supremo Chris Churm Phil Dunn and Mick Howard will be starting, finishing and all the bits in-between to compliment an already quality line up. The night runs 7pm-00.30 and a very reasonable £5 gets you in on the night!! Sales boxes are welcome as the "lounge lizards" offer the odd vinyl gem to peruse!! See you there!!

2024 is moving along at pace and not long to our March Instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club !! Saturday March 16th yet more quality guest DJs for the Ashton Faithful!! We have some mind blowing line ups coming your way, with one in particular in the not too distant future, more news available on the night !!! ......... Luci Jones is another returning guest with her all action high octane selections, aimed firmly at the dancers!! Wilxy will be well known from the memorable BVAN sessions and a regular contributor and collector of motor city moooovers, so look forward to that!!! Team Ukrainian regulars Phil Dunn Chris Churm and Mick Howard complete a unique and varied line up!! Once again hats off for all our regular supporters and first timers who absolutely make the night and atmosphere what it is!! Another quality line up at Ashton Ukrainian Club, we welcome two returning guest DJs. Falkirk's finest Alan Jenkins is back behind the decks after a sensational spot at the recent Rugby Anniversary All-nighter and Luci Jones with her all action sets of uptempo Northern Soul and R+B scorchers. We have another debutant in the shape of Wilxy who will be well known to members on here and a major contributor to the BVAN sessions expect a healthy portion of soul from the Motor City and much more!!

Ashton Feb Anniversary Video.mp4 To quote Stuart Raith "it's a bit good here innit" Ashton Ukrainian 7th anniversary delivered by the bucket load!! Blown away by another full house and yet more New Faces, it really is appreciated . Nice to catch up with Alan Jenkins and Natalie Nicholls glad you enjoyed and look forward to Alan's set next month!! Musically it was right up there, usual fresh and varied opening set from Phil Dunn and very close to spot of the night was Tony Mac, very unassuming he never fails to deliver!! Next up two hours of Soulful Grooves Ukrainian fixer and non too shabby DJ Simon Ingham double decking with Top Soul Collector/DJ Allan Coney some real nice stuff, a few acetates and great forgotten oldies like Top Shelf "no second thoughts" sounded great to these ears!! Top Spot of the night and rightly so Andy Dyson once again took the roof off, Stormie Winters "lifesaver" Bernadine and so many more, just brilliant, thanks mate!! Lord Ashton Chris Churm rounded off the night, mixing the styles Marshall, Donovan and Broomfield, Choice of Color the pick of the 70s mooovers from the 60s Brooks Brothers, Ralph Graham and squeezing the last drop of emotion Big Jack Montgomery "don't turn your back on me" WOW!! Always the sign of a great night when people just didn't want to leave!! We have some amazing DJs lined up in the coming months, more will be revealed March 16th......

Just two days to our 7th Anniversary celebrations at Ashton Ukrainian Club. Saturday February 17th we have an All Star line up for the Ashton Faithful. Look forward to Andy Dyson's set after a mind blowing hour behind the decks last year, all tempos, all styles, you know it's gonna be good!! Allan Coney will be showcasing some of his wonderful acetates, in a mouthwatering double-deck session with Team Ukrainian Fixer Simon Ingham, so don't miss that!! The ever popular Tony Mac completes the guest DJs for a real special event!! Phil Dunn provides the early door selections for all our early bird enthusiasts, always something different!! Ashton main man Chris Churm will as ever be sending the assembled masses home singing and dancing, what's not to like!! All this for a mere £5 admission pay on the door, unrivalled quality and value for money is our ethos for this great club, the music flows 7pm-00.30.
