FORGRT ABOUT ALL THE MATRIX'S AND OTHER THIS ANDTHAT'S ,THE FIRST DARK BLUE BOOT IS PRETTY CONVINSING BUT THE ONLY CAST IRON WAY OF TELLING IS THE DISTORTION ON THE SOUND FOR A FEW SECONDS TOWARDS THE END OF THE 45 SIMPLE AS THAT...

Countless stories can be told about sam by us all ,whether you like his musical taste or not he is a figure we should all look up to for his unmatchable enthusiasm and dedication and energy.out of all the lifeline dj's sam is undoubtably the most charismatic and a certain member of the all time top 5... here's another example of why.. when i found the " foolish girl " cover up i played it to sam on one of his visits, after the first few seconds he had to have it infact he was planning out where in his set it would fit.. at that time i had no spares but promised he could have the next copy if and when it ever came along - that day came about a year or so after .at around 3ish in the afternoon i tell sam over the phone i got that " foolish girl " but it ain't cheap ! reply was i'm setting off now ,is there a quicker route than i normally take ? he asks - not that i can think of me says .in record time a nock on the door and there stands sam playbox in hand, he wasn't leaving tickhill that evening without " foolish girl " that's for sure.....

Where's The Best Place To Sell Rare Deep Soul Us 45's
Dysonsoul replied to Steve Plumb's topic in All About the SOUL
DEEP SOUL HAS ALWAYS BEEN FOR ME MY FAVOURITE TIPPLE IN THE SOUL BREWERY,THE EXCITING THING WITH THIS STYLE UNLIKE NORTHERN ETC.. I CAN STILL FIND FABULOUS UNKNOWN TITLES ! I FOR SURE STILL PAY WHATEVER IT TAKES FOR CERTAIN TITLES AND WILL CONTINUE TO SO .INFACT I'VE BEEN PLEASENTLY SUPRISED AT THE NUMBER OF NORTHERN COLLECERS THAT HAVE OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS STARTED BUYING DEEP - I THINK ONE WILL FIND THAT MOST OF THE PREMIER DEEP FOLLOWERS HAVE ALL THE BIG TITLES HENCE NEED THAT SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT OR NEW .. FUNNILY ENOUGH BEEN PLAYING THESE EARLIER JOHN WASHINGTON - SANDWASH ANTWANS - YOU GOT THAT RIGHT BARONS UNLIMITED - LOVE OH LOVE EARL GAINES - FRUIT FROM ANOTHER MANS TREE ( ONE OF THE 45'S TO GET ME INTO DEEP AND STILL ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVES) ... -
Now then nick... this ANDY D ain't me mate perhaps he should put his full second name to avoid confusion , i get a few mails every week with people thinkin it's me ! never the less " too hot to hold " is fantastic mine's on a yellow canadian copy - i'll certainly give it a spin at middleton for you though !!

the purple copy is a few years earlier and certainly rarer , must dig em both out and compare them - if my memory serves me rightly when i did this a few years ago there was difference in mixes.never the less both releases worthy of a play out !
-
THAT'S THE ONE STEVE....
-
Wih regards the said 45 i have it on another label -slightly earlier mix probably even late 60's it's a purple label NYCP or summat like that a tad better mix on the titles, i had 3 copies a few years ago i'm sure sam had one of them..
-
When chalky calls here next i'll get him to send it from my place - i ain't the foggiest how to do it.. incidently i have another 45 on the label by the same outfit -great deep soul...
-
was £25 for years but all seem to have disapeared - sam had the last copy i had about a year ago at a tad over £100 , i got a couple more by hi on the logo -both funk and on the later blue design where as the " strange" is silver as said earlier..
