  7. Just a couple of days now before the Sink Christmas Cracker, one of the best basement clubs in the country and one of the few that has a progressive and ever changing playlist! If you like to hear something a bit different mixed in with some classic 60s tunes then this is the place for you, our playlist covers the years of the original Sink Club from 1963 to 1971 with some earlier sounds and maybe even a few newer releases which fit in the groove of this iconic basement club.   12. Just four days to go until the Pemberton Masonic Hall Soul Night takes place again, Saturday 11th November is the date. Three great guest DJs who will all play a superb mix of sounds, if you like to hear something a bit different this is the venue for you on the 11th

Just a few weeks to go till the next Pemberton Masonic Hall Soul Night, another top DJ line up for this one with Steve Thomas (Anglesey), Mick Smith (Southport) and Martin Blundell (Wigan) joining us on the decks. The Masonic has gone from strength to strength since we started up earlier this year, it’s a good decent sized venue with a nice dance floor and the best mix of sounds.     Absolutely brilliant day once again at the Sink, a full house and a busy dance floor right from 3pm through to the finish at 9pm Attendees from all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and loads of great feedback from everyone we spoke to. Thanks to everyone who turned up, we couldn’t do it without you Next one at the Sink is on Sunday 17th December, our Christmas shindig. Looking like it’s going to be another busy one so hopefully we’ll see you all there

  16. Under two weeks to go now till the next Sink Rhythm & Soul event on Sunday 15th October, down in the basement of Heebie Jeebies once again. The last Sink in August was a cracker, a full house and a brilliant atmosphere so hopefully Octobers will be similar. See you there
    Thanks to everyone who attended Pemberton Masonic last night. What a great night busy, and some top sounds from all the DJs. We opened the doors at 7.30pm and the place was half full by 8pm, people stayed until the very last record too which was brilliant. Quite a few new faces and we received lots of great positive feedback from folks who loved the venue and our music policy. The music was a great mix of underplayed, rarer sounds and classic big oldies which is what we’re aiming for at the Masonic, brilliant. Next one at Pemberton is on Saturday 11th November with DJs Steve Thomas from Wales, Mick Smith from Southport and local lad Martin Blundell ( Blunny) joining us on the decks. Hope you can make it
