Not a strictly soul night as we throw in some r&b dancers, a little raw funk and stuff, you could try my night, the Hogwash Jump Joint on the first Thursday of every month at the Bordello, Los Angeles. Soulside! the second Saturday of the month at Nocturnal, Santa Monica, L.A. play some soul at their nights, but it's really dependant on the quality of the guests on that night. Funky Sole at Star Shoes in Hollywood plays mainly semi rare funk and some euro funk - so very little soul, but hey, it might be of interest. You'll hear some soul at the Bullet in Los Angeles, but nothing rare - it's all classics. The best night for hearing quality soul is the Central Soul Club in L.A. so hopefully the guys will pull something out of the bag some time soon.
