  1. I've just been on the Website & seen.....Leonard Adair - That smile upon your face - Stage Productions. for £150. A damn good buy for somebody @ that price. best regards Ritchie
  2. Yes, one on Pat Bradys auction. How do you tell an original re the matrix numbers etc. Can anybody put up a scan of an original and a "Boot" I think Rick Cooper had a demo back in the day. Also the first batch of copies came from Global in Manchester where he worked. Best regards Ritchie.
  3. Ian, I have never seen Russ's book, but if the Image is in it, I can't see how he ever got hold of the Image. Only a few "Mecca Regulars" were privy to obtaining copies of Trevors shots. People like Dick Watts, Shelvo, Mike Ritson, myself, non of whom were Wigan stalwarts. If he has another copy of that Image in his book down as Wigan Casino, I beg to differ. All my photos are clearly labeled on the back with year & location etc. best Regards Ritchie.
  4. Sorry Ian...........both the Ritz. I never went to Wigan in 1976, neither did Trevor Groves who took both Pictures. Regards Ritchie.
  5. Good Morning Ian, As its Monday I thought posting a couple of Images would be nice. These are of you at the Ritz in 1975.
  6. Keith Williams had a "Ghetto Kitty" for sale a couple of weeks ago, he may still have it ! keith@soulsearcherrecords.co.uk Regards Ritchie.
  7. PM'd you............Ritchie.
  8. So have I, along with about fifty good internal shots of the Mecca & Ritz from 1974 to 1977, taken by Trevor Groves. Also a Blackpool Mecca blazer badge made from wire (Not unlike your Avatar) Regarding the Magnetics on Bonnie, Colin bought it off Bob Foster @ the end of the summer of 1976, he came down to buy it after Bob took it to Sale Mecca the previous thursday. Whether he ever played it at the Mecca I dont know but I remember vividly the day he bought it, which is a story in itself ! Regarding the photo's all the "usual suspects" are on them Ian Levine, Jack Bollington, Shelvo, Carol, Richard Watt, Mike Ritson, myself, Ric Tic, Colin Curtis, pus shots of the dance floor @ both the Ritz & Mecca (including Ian & Carol Jiving) etc etc. I'll have to dig them out and I MIGHT put up a few on here............if anybodys Interested. Best regards Ritchie.
  9. Hello, Yes its me "Wuffers" mate from N Wales. Thanks for the info on the Inspirations still less than ten copies I think, but don't regret selling it, cos it got me about six of the top records of the time, plus the stuff in the box ! Regards Ritchie.
  10. I got it in £20 installments over the next month. Colin also paid about the same for the Magnetics - lady in green off Bob Foster. Can you shed any light on: Quasar one - Clevelend Eaton Whas this an accetete only recording ? Regards Ritchie
  11. Yes he did get it from "Daly City Bob" Some great stuff came from him back in the day. Regards Ritchie.
  12. £80 which to me then was a "small fortune". Regards Ritchie.
  13. Actually Ian it was me. I got it from Neil Rushton at a Ritz Sunday All dayer, and took it to The Mecca the following Saturday. Colin gave me some cash, and a small box of records for it. Things like Virginia Blakly, and Sandi Blair on Mateus were in that box. I think later Colin sold it to Mick Smith. Best regards Ritchie.
  14. Shouldn't that be Ian Highland Room Cunliffe ? regards Ritchie
  15. Spot on there Gene.............the vocals may be a little raucous/J5 influenced, but also in my opinion a truly great record ! Best regards Ritchie.
  16. Anybody got any of the following for sale ? Milton Parker - Women like it harder - Closet Ree Flores - Look into my Heart - M & H Psychodelic Frankie - Putting you out of my life - Hi Speed Flourescent Smogg - All my life - W.G. Bobby James - I really love you - Karol Jimmy Burns - I really love you - Erica Brand new faces - Brand new faces - Lujana Cindy Gibson - Step by Step Arctic Ok I know that the majority of these are rare, but I will pay top prices for any of the above, if in top condition. Please PM me with condition & price, or e-mail me @ westcoast66@btinternet.com Thanks for looking. Best Regards Ritchie.
  17. Monarch did a "Test Pressing" for somebody who wanted to Re-issue or possibly Bootleg this title. The only boots that I have seen are VINYL with a red lable. These Test Pressings are STYRENE with delta number TS 6016 (1258) 104X-33X. If it failed to come out on STYRENE as a boot with these matrix numbers, (Monarch pressing) it is to me still a Test Pressing (Non-original). If anybody has the Red boot, can they please give some more details of it ? Best Regards Ritchie.
