  5. Yvonne Baker was a massive Blackpool Mecca Highland room tune, and I got an issue from Colin Curtis when he had finished with it. I took it to Wigan, later on the same night, and heard it played there several times. To say that R.W. played it first may not be totally true. Regards Ritchie.
  6. A sad loss indeed. My commiserations go out to his Family. R.I.P. Alan.
  7. Great record..................big spin for Chic (Shrewsbury) & Mark Speakman (North Wales) Regards Ricardo.

  11. Hi Neil, I remember the purchase of the Inspirations very well. Ritz All Dayer mid Summer of 1976. I gave you £35 cash, & a mint Issue of Joe Matthews on Kool cat. I later traded the record with Colin Curtis, who made it massive. At that time the Ritz was a great place for records, buying or selling. happy days! PS: Whatever happened to 'Daly city Bob Cattaneao' Regards Ritchie.
  12. Hi Mark, I sold you a copy of Reggie Alexander @ a 'Do' the Mount Stewart Hotel Colwy Bay, in I think the late eightees.,(possibly your 1st copy.) This copy ended up with Keith (Soul - Searcher) Williams who still has it. I originaly bought it from Bob Foster for £2. Regards Ricardo.
  13. Sad news Indeed, he will be missed. R.I.P. Chris. Ritchie Andrew.
  14. As the record was issued twice, the common one is: Buddah 32 - Pigtails - Say it again (say I love you) The 'rarer' one being: Buddah 47 - Loving you - Pigtails. I've just had a look on the web, and can only find the Buddah 32. Loving you is possibly a lot rarer, and I think that some confusion exists between the two issues. Also its a great track. Regards Ricardo.
  15. PM'd you ref Leonard Adair. Ricardo.
  16. Hi Steve, I've sent you a PM as I have one for sale. Regards Ritchie.
  17. The first two singles I bought were both from 'Greaves' record shop in Rhyl and were: Dee Dee Sharp - What kind of lady - Action. Little carl Carlton - Competition aint nothing - Action. I also bought my second pair of Lee Rider jeans the same day from Horesh's in Rhyl. (see Flasher below)
  18. What do you reckon its worth now ?...........How much would you sell your copy for ? Regards Ricardo.
  19. The label title is Sold brothers six ! I sold one on e-bay about 2 years ago for £37, before the buzz came on it. Put SOLD brothers six into Popsike to view. Regards Ricardo.
  20. Soundfile anybody. Regards Ricardo.
  21. A very sad loss indeed, Viola made some fantastic records, she will be missed by us all. Viola Wills R.I.P. regards Ritchie.
  22. I hope your sentiments will remain the same, if it does transpire that your friend Mr Levine is the mystery buyer. !! Regards, Ricardo.
  23. Nice record..............very close to 'everythings good about you' Ricardo.
  24. Would it not be fair to suggest if the record needs slowing or speeding up then the record ain't right in the first place? Play at correct speed or not at all. Regards - Mark Bicknell. Spot on Mark .............the only record played 'speeded up' should be Betty Moorer, or the other version. Ricardo.
