  1. I love this tuunne (Good Luck) fabulous to sway on the floor to. Reminds me of Mr Gaz Kellett - always used to play this for me Would love to purchase it Derek but I'm all out of bon bons for the time being
  2. I'll have them all please Dan, what flavour bon bons would you like for them Fantastic tunes ... all of them Jimmy Wallace is one of my faves and reminds me of Droylsden .. great memories there
  3. Fabulous tuuune Liam Gets played by John Fisher at 3Bs and Mothafunkas nights at Stafford ... love dancing to this and I almost know all the words now too Hope you find one
  4. I think that's a great idea, I had seen a piccie of Lynda Pearson on here the other week and was desperately trying to find it for days I trawled the gallery and then thankfully Peako posted the pic I'd been looking for. I don't think family/close friends would mind as we're doing it to remember those souls by
  5. As I've not had a tape ( ) off you since about 1989 can I please also have a CD ... you'll have to ask Paul for one back though as he has all my records
  6. I still laugh at that joke now ... horse walks into a bar etc etc
  7. I do have a few piccies of her but I can't scan them I'm afraid! Dawn was only about 5 foot tall (if that!) with short blonde hair (although had lots of colours in it from time to time). Did most of her souling around Liverpool though. I haven't seen her for years so I don't think she's still on the scene. I remember she married an army bloke and I think they moved away but don't know where to.
  8. I adore this record ... brings a tear to my eye dancing to it. Reminds me of Pete Lawson RIP
  9. Got the flyers today Andrew so will take some to Mothafunkas tomorrow night and give a few to people attending other venues over the next few weeks
  10. I'm always calling you that .. I thought it was your real name I remember now .. too much champagne and strongbow
  11. This sounds remarkable like an old mate of mine called Dawn Richardson who did the scene (and also the scooter rallies) and lived just down the road from Aintree Race Course. Would this be the same person?
  12. Does Mrs Shute know this information
  13. I'm still waiting on news of Linda's final farewell and exactly what happened but will let you all know as soon as I do, unless of course anyone speaks to Mark in the meantime and can let us all know. I still can't quite believe it ...

  15. I have just had a message to tell me that Linda Pearson from Bolton died this morning The message was a bit vague as the sender is devastated and will contact me later on today with more details. Apparently it was something to do with her heart. Those of you who knew Linda knew how happy she'd been lately since she'd been with Mark Morgan (Wales) and how her life had changed. Linda was full of life and really good fun to be with. I last saw Linda at Bidds nighter a couple of months ago and had a really good night with her. As soon as I hear more I'll post something up. I shall miss her laughter and sense of fun... RIP Linda darling xxx
  16. I haven't been down for a couple of years but when I lived "up north" we used to travel down every month ... I'm speechless ... Ady you must be gutted but these things normally happen for a reason ... I just can't think of a damn good one at the moment I hope your new venue takes off well for you Mandy x
  17. Hammy that is absolutely terrible and disgusting behaviour and they wonder why the majority of US citizens can't stand the pigs!! I sincerely hope you're well again and no permanent damage has been caused - physically and mentally. I hope you get along with suing them too .. I work for a rather large litigation law practice so if you need any help just give me a shout
  18. Standing at Trentham Gardens with Bob & Mo Hinsley watching The Dells ... I don't know who cried more .. me or Mo ... they were just superb and has to be one of the best live acts I've ever seen
  19. Mandy

happy new year from the girls

Is Mrs Shute doing the aggadoo there?
  20. This is terrible I don't know what happened here except his partner is supposedly the person who murdered him - people only hear about women being abused in relationships ... I just hope the poor man didn't suffer whilst she did whatever she did to him. His kids must be absolutely devasted by this ... why don't people think or get help before things go too far I didn't know Simon but my thoughts are with his children and the rest of his family at this awfully sad time

us on ayr beach, bloody cold

What a couple of corkers - they're going to break a few hearts in a few years time!! I love seeing what other people's kids look like and who they take after. When I get my PC up and running again at home I'll put some of my little lad up!
  22. Was Pickle the small guy from Stockport way? Just say hi to Andy next time you do speak to him. I'll get Gary's number and PM you with it Haven't seen much of the old "wigan/manchester" crowd ... Paul Hamer is still on the scene knocking about with Mickie Cruze, Jed was last seen at Prestatyn in March looking good, Nettie is now married, Gail has started playing out again (seen piccies of her out and about), Julie Halliwell is now with Dave Molloy ... that's about all I know I'm afraid. Good to see you on here.
  23. Yet another young soul gone from us When I lived "up north" Terry asked if he could borrow my car to run his "young lady" home up to Rochdale and of course as it was Terry I said yes. Not expecting him to be back for a few hours but I was getting a bit concerned the following morning when neither Terry nor the car had returned. A few hours later the police turned up at my place to tell me that they had found my "stolen" car in the middle of Stockport town centre with the driver's door left wide open .... I'm still not quite sure to this day what happened but Terry swore he couldn't remember either RIP Terry Mandy x
  24. I used to love those nights.... meeting up with Phil & Linda Broadhurst, Julie & Mo, Howard Jones, Pat & Bernard Lowe to name a few. Fantastic music and great atmosphere. Pokey little club but just awesome nights there
