  2. What a shame! Obviously I hope the new promoters do well but an Albrighton Revival night or nights would have been great
  3. I was going to say a new bed ... but was beaten to the silly answer
  4. For me it has to be I'll Hold You - Frankie & Johnny Love it to bits and always race on to the floor when I hear it start up
  5. I've had this a few times when I've tried to download an addition ... I always thought it was something to do with having viruses on the post ... is that right?
  6. This has been going on for a long time ... be very careful. I tend to email seller and do it between them and me and no third party ... safest way if you can do it

  8. I've seen a couple of "big DJs" turn up at the last minute .. DJ ... collect their fee.. then bugger off ... so it is done .. one of these was a "BIG NAMED DJ" who turned up 2 mins before his spot at Rangers with 6 guests ( who all got in free) and then all left 2 mins after his spot .. which incidentally was shite

  10. My first proper outings where in and around Cheshire area .... influences were Johnny Beggs, Pete Hollander in that area. Other great firsts for me were Carl Fortnum, Pat Brady. Jumping Joan gave me a tape many many years ago with lots of girlie things on it so she's to blame for my taste in soul music (Connie Questell )
  11. I totally agree with Janine here, not sure if the advertisers are charged but they should be as any other mag/paper that sells charges the seller. I know the poor guy has to make some money to cover costs but this is something that I generally tend to pick up of a table and to be honest I don't think I'd actually walk over to someone and pay a pound for it. I know a quid's nothing these days but it's not the cost it's the actual "going" to get it when us lazy lot aren't used to having to do that.
