  2. Rach, it doesn't matter how many times it gets played .. it's brilliant ... that means we can both dance to it whilst the other is Djing
  3. Sea Shells - Quiet Home Connie Questell - Tell Me What To Do Clydie King - Missing My Baby and Soft and Gentle Ways [ oh Mark the list is endless really when you start thinking isn't it

  9. Hey Mr Bicknell ..... thought you were being a good boy
  10. Just out of curiosity Dan how much did you pay for Lorraine Chandler? I had this many years ago and can't remember if I sold it or the ex kept it  I seem to remember paying about £25 for it but I'm talking about 11 years ago
  11. If it was me, I'd demand my money back from said thief (obviously with threats of the police etc) and then return the record to the original owner, thereby I'd feel better and the record would be back where it belongs. I would hope most people would do the same
  12. Nice little gift yesterday from a very nice person ... Hot Sauce "Bring It Home" fell through my letterbox
  13. Take it you're not very good with names then Brett ... how many girls live in Sheffield and up north who dance
  14. Are you a girl
  15. Same here Annie, I used to try and copy Jo but always ended up twisting my ankle or worse, falling over
  16. Not sure if this topic has aleady been done, I know we've had best dancer .... Jo Brock (Mrs Trevski) is a fabulous little dancer ... keeps herself in her own dance space but turns and moves great. Obviously Jumpin Joan is up top there too and I also like watching Deanne May, seems to glide on the dancefloor and totally in tune with the music
  17. They were superb weren't they .. didn't stop crying all the way home ...
  18. Love you to bits Stevie but can you please explain the question again?!! You've been at the sherry again haven't you
  19. I was always a little behind the times Dan, must have been earlier then ... don't forget I was only young at the time I have just checked with my sister who I went with and she seems to think it was 81 or 82 (my I was very young then!!!) And I've never seen the Style Council so it couldn't have been them ... oh and by the way ... I do know the difference between the two bands !!
  20. I would love to see David Bowie again ... saw him in 1985 at Maine Road (ex Man City ground), he was absolutely superb .. boiling hot day, plenty of coider and a great crowd ... have dreams about him in that yellow suit. Also the Jam .. saw them in '85 too at Bingley Hall, Stafford ... fabbie!! Never saw Madness unfortunately but would have liked to have been there at that time all the two-tone suits etc .. dead smart
  21. We went to see Al Green in Manchester last year and he was good but only did an hour .. I know he's old etc etc but expected a bit more than that for my £30!! Didn't do half the stuff I was hoping he would either - nothing off his new album at the time either
  22. Mandy

    Decent Scans

Brilliant record ..... can't wait to hear it at the Stoke/Sheffield Dayer on 18th Feb!!! (just a little plug) but I do love the tune
  23. Bad news this .... hope you find somewhere else very soon Steve. Somebody out in Manc Land must know of a venue somewhere ...
  24. So come on then matey, where you off to? Although I don't know you it's always sad to see one of ours moving across shores although I'm sure it's a better life than in the drab old UK, good luck. By the way, I'd buy all your tunes but my bank manager hates me
