No big deal Nev, just felt like buying summat. There are hundreds of tunes i fancy they were just two i thought about at the time of posting! I have been offered Cynthis Sheeler on here before but with respect to the seller our valuations have been too far apart. Chris

The other side of Elouise Laws is fantastic crossover..... Chris
-
Drat...You spotted my sales ploy to bring down the asking prices Flanny! Chris
-
Seen it for as low as a grand but realistically more like 1200- 1500.......if you can find one for sale mate. If you find two let me know! Chris
-
Alex Brown-I`m not responsible and Cynthia Sheeler- I`ll cry over you Realistic prices paid for these two played out pieces of shite! Chris
-
Great post Dave, and a top track too...first time i have heard it i think...nice one mate! Chris

Good on you Adam. One of the people on your list of 3 is known to me a "orderer buy none payer" another is a good customer who always pays on time. Funny thing is when i have a good chat with Shifty about buyers we come up with the same names as time wasters so its just a case of people ordering records they cant afford which is sad really. The idea behind posting this is to highlight an increasing problem, i`m not going to hark on about me having bills to pay etc its just plain ignorance to order something and then not honour the agreement. Just to make one thing clear, if anyone asks me for easy terms and sticks to it then I`m always open to that,no problem, its the gits that have aspirations beyond their wallets i`m having a pop at! Chris. ps. I am tax registered and declare everything too.

Got mine a few months ago...cant remember exactly how much but around £200 i think. Great tune, love it to bits! Chris

I am sure i speak for all record sellers when i make this plea to all potential record buyers.... When you email someone asking for a record from their sales list and they confirm they are holding the record for you, you have reserved that record to buy so please then honour the deal and pay the seller for that record. You wouldn`t believe the number of people who waste everyones time ordering records only to have the seller hold the record and then when the seller contacts them they suddenly dont want the record anymore! If you cant afford it or you dont really want it then please dont order the bloody thing! When you order a record from a seller they take it off sale and often turn down other buyers who would happily part with their cash...only for the sale to fall through some time later due to poor manners. Surely nobody on here can disagree with this request!? It all comes down to good manners in the end. Chris.

Hi Guys, Welcome along to list 62, I`m still in the middle of sorting out all of those records from my last States trip but have managed to cobble together a nice list of quality soul tunes for your soulful stimulation! Sales Cds are always popular, they usually come out a few days before the main list is sent out. The Cds feature a sample of around 60 of the tracks from the main list, giving you first chane to buy the tracks you want and also enabling you to hear some tunes that may be new to you. You get 3x monthly CDs for only £5.00. I accept paypal to the usual address or you can send a cheque/ cash to the address listed below. Grading is as follows...... M Faultless/ Probably unplayed E Few light marks, still a nice copy vg More marks, maybe some surface noise but plays thru ok I will also use + or minus to indicate grades in more detail. I also offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with any record for any reason, so please buy with confidence. Payment, I accept paypal to this address chris.soul@btinternet.com or you can send cash/ cheque to; Chris Anderton, 1 Jackson Av, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6LL. I will now also accept a direct bank transfer, this saves the hassle of sending a cheque or needless paypal fees.Postage costs are... £2.00 recorded (only insured up to £39) or £5.60 by special delivery in the UK (fully insured up to £1000). Overseas £2.00 airmail or £5.60 signed for airmail, ask if you need insurance. Please note if you do not take out the correct amount of postal insurance and your item is missing or damaged this is not my fault. A massive thank you to everyone who supported the last "Dab of Soul" session in Nantwich. This event goes from strength to strength and is now fast becoming a "must attend" night for lovers of quality 70s and crossover soul. Our next event is on Friday (for a change) December 18th and the guest DJs will be 2 of the nicest people on the scene, Rob Kay and Orwell main man Steve Plumb. As well as being nice guys they also have some tunes to die for! As always the guests will be supported by Dave Lucas and Myself.Contact me if you need any more info. I dont normally use this list for this kind of thing but I consider this to be so important I would like you all to be aware of it. A good friend of mine has had a box of 45s stolen whilst out DJing. He has no idea who could have taken the records, it could be someone from the scene or just an opportunist thief. They were taken in Hamburg, Germany but these records could surface anywhere. Jimmy Mack, Is It Really That Rare
Chris Anderton replied to Sheldonsoul's topic in Look At Your Box
I just picked up a copy in Detroit and the thing that struck me when listening to it again after all this time is what a great singer Jimmy Mack was. He doesn`t miss a note and his range is fantastic. Do we know anything about him? Chris
