I could certainly do with a copy, and would be able to contribute, i`ve been selling Northern/ 70s Lps off my list for over 3 years. Maybe we start an unnofficial guide on here...just need someone to collate the info...as well as a price guide its important to me that we highlight the "big" tracks too. Actually i suppose we have already started......see my posts on "Help required" in the "Look in your box" section........ Cheers, Chris.

Cheers Guys...I guessed the Eleanore Mills was the hardest because its probaly the only one I have`nt seen in a US record store...well along with the Betty Crutcher....(is that anything?) I just picked these from the top of the pile....I have plenty more to go at.... The deal is that i will play the track and if i can live without it then the LP will be for sale... Its from a collection i bought, added up everything i knew and that more than covered the cost, now I`m having some fun with the other stuff... Your help is much appreciated, thankyou..... Chris ps. Sean, They are`nt sealed but all in great condition...

Hi Guys, I have come into a bunch of Lps...they all look nice but i have`nt got the time to play them all, much as I`d like to.....so i`m taking the easy way out by picking your brains instead. -
Just to clarify i need the listing for the US labels cameo and Parkway... I sometimes forget that people actually collect that British stuff! Chris
-
Thanks Guys but its the listing of the US labels i need...or a complete list of the Northern tracks on the label would be just as good... I did check out Daves site but could`nt find the info i was looking for. Hakenig,I cant believe you knew someone who worked for them in the 60s and never followed it up! Thats what is known as a red hot lead in my book...... Chris.
-
I think we did this before and the winner was John Anderson..and rightly so in my book. A true gent and very modest about what he has given the soul world. All round top man.... Chris
-
Anyone have a discography of cameo Parkway or a listing of the Northern tunes on the label? TIA. Chris
-
Yeah Yarmouth were brilliant and I didn't have to work. I reckoned I got through 50+ pints per weekender and still had room for chips. ............... Ady, At the Motown weekender is there any truth in the story about a guy picking out some nice UK motown Demos from your sales box and handing them to you...you take a long hard look at them and say "one twenty" and he offers you one pound twenty pence!! The Yarmouth Northern weekenders were awesome for me, used to travel down with Nogger and Gilly...great days! Chris
