Cheers Guys...I guessed the Eleanore Mills was the hardest because its probaly the only one I have`nt seen in a US record store...well along with the Betty Crutcher....(is that anything?) I just picked these from the top of the pile....I have plenty more to go at.... The deal is that i will play the track and if i can live without it then the LP will be for sale... Its from a collection i bought, added up everything i knew and that more than covered the cost, now I`m having some fun with the other stuff... Your help is much appreciated, thankyou..... Chris ps. Sean, They are`nt sealed but all in great condition...

Hi Guys, I have come into a bunch of Lps...they all look nice but i have`nt got the time to play them all, much as I`d like to.....so i`m taking the easy way out by picking your brains instead. -
Just to clarify i need the listing for the US labels cameo and Parkway... I sometimes forget that people actually collect that British stuff! Chris
-
Thanks Guys but its the listing of the US labels i need...or a complete list of the Northern tracks on the label would be just as good... I did check out Daves site but could`nt find the info i was looking for. Hakenig,I cant believe you knew someone who worked for them in the 60s and never followed it up! Thats what is known as a red hot lead in my book...... Chris.
-
I think we did this before and the winner was John Anderson..and rightly so in my book. A true gent and very modest about what he has given the soul world. All round top man.... Chris
-
Anyone have a discography of cameo Parkway or a listing of the Northern tunes on the label? TIA. Chris
-
Yeah Yarmouth were brilliant and I didn't have to work. I reckoned I got through 50+ pints per weekender and still had room for chips. ............... Ady, At the Motown weekender is there any truth in the story about a guy picking out some nice UK motown Demos from your sales box and handing them to you...you take a long hard look at them and say "one twenty" and he offers you one pound twenty pence!! The Yarmouth Northern weekenders were awesome for me, used to travel down with Nogger and Gilly...great days! Chris

Mello Souls - We Can Make It .. Some Infos
Chris Anderton replied to Tommaso's topic in Look At Your Box
I know Shifty has had two or three thru his hands...so you can count on Carl Fortnum having a copy. Sure Shiftys own copy went to Kenny....... Chris -
Tom, I cant remember sending you that! Chris
-
Posted the first batch of tunes from my list today...about 20 of them, all first class so hopefully should be with you tomorrow.... Can you believe my post office actually lost a package inside the post office...it was never actually posted but was handed over by me......unbelievable! Still, the woman behind the counter still wants a soul bros 6 for her Hubbys birthday...get my money back somehow! Chris
-
> Hi Guys, I`m just back from a hectic trip Stateside and although it was hard work I`m happy to report that I have more quality tunes for your listening pleasure! I always try to grade records accurately although its impossible to play every record, that's why I offer a money back guarantee if not completely satisfied for any reason. Gradings are as follows; M-Faultless, probably unplayed, E- Very clean and a nice copy. VG - Used but plays through ok with some light noise, great for DJing with. Please order ALL RECORDS by email, first come, first served. P&P is £1.80 for up to 2 x 45 and £2.80 per LP, obviously cheaper if you buy more than one item. Please pay by cheque, cash, IMO or by using your credit card through www.paypal.com. .Please make all cheques out to C.Anderton and send to; C.Anderton, 1 Jackson Av, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6LL. After this month I`ll be changing the way I do sales Cds, they will only be sent to my very best customers, who buy almost every list, and subscribers. I`m sending way too many out and its just not cost effective to continue with that policy. It costs £5.00 for 3 lists which is`nt exactly going to break the bank, you can paypal me on this address but remember this is the only sure fire way to receive the sales CDs! I`ll be spinning at the excellent "Three Greyhounds" session in Middlewich on October 13th. The last event was fantastic with a good crowd in attendence including many travellers (no not gypsys!). The guests for this event are Alan Pollard and Steve Guinori so expect some more quality tune-age this month! For more info call Kev on 07746 736185. Just a reminder that I`m always available for DJing....just contact me in the usual way.....
