Tony, You and John seem to be having the same problem mate...or maybe i seem to be having the problem with you! I`ll PM them to you right now...and i`ll email them again... As a matter of interest do you and John receive my sales list? Just thinking that maybe it goes into your bulk/spam files? I dont know whats going on! The 79 was a nice knock these days...only get out about 4 or 5 times a year now, could`nt resist the real thing after playing Tiger Woods 08 on the Wii!!! Glad you are all enjoying the Cds.... Guys, Had a day off this today and after shooting a steady 79 this morning i have spent the afternoon catching up on the CDs...so far i have played Val, Bigray, John Mcrae and Hohn Reed. Every Cd so far is top quality, right in the theme and the spirit of the swap.....well done guys. I`ll get a listen to the others over the weekend, Cheers, Chris.

Mine will be in the mail tomorrow, first class of course so should be with you Friday... I found it a tough thread this time. I suppose because at one point i was in danger of doing a CD of "Classics" everyone knows...Instead i have broken it down, done ten tracks from some of my soul heros, some from the play box, some classics and finish with a couple of deepies... I found mine in Detroit a year ago,....didnt know it but loved it the first time i heard it... Then a few weeks later heard it at Lowton... Great Detroit soul...no idea on value although i did see a demo go thru ebay at around $100 recently... Chris.

Did my Cd tonight, the first ten tracks are by heroes...Womack, Ruffin, Hutson etc then i play a few biggies from the DJ box....followed by some midtempo classics and finishing with some deepies...but all records i would never sell... Should have them out on Wednesday. Hope everyone enjoys the swap. Chris.

Absolute top bloke, love him to bits...! Good luck in your retirement mate....you have earned it! I remember John Pugh bringing Max to some of the Albrighton nights a few years ago...Max was so humble and into the music it was unreal, this from a guy who had`nt been anywhere for 30 odd years. He loved talking about the old times but was always more interested in the new stuff we were playing...what he did`nt realise was that to us he was a living legend! I`ll even forgive him his "Bumpy and thumpy" re-invention...!! A true gent and a lovely man. Chris.

Exactly right John...just put on there tunes that you love and will never let go....thats all its about.. I drove back from Manchester today playing Bullys CD, I know about 50% of the tunes on one particular CD but when did i last get to (or bother to) hear them?.....but there they were, quality soul tunes back to back...I was "in the zone" just listening to some great soul mucic and enjoyed this particular soul session as much as i had enjoyed any CD or any spot at a venue in the last 5 years! Its not about showing off...never has been on this swap. Sure, put some rarities on if you like but they better be great tunes too! Enjoy... Chris.
