Chris Anderton replied to Chris Anderton's topic in All About the SOUL
Guys, Thanks for the replies on this thread. I`m no big reader but i do like biographies so i`ll be checking out a few of these....definatly the Jackie Wilson and Teddy Pendergrass. I have read "Divided soul" a couple of times already and i have a great Otis Redding biography i picked up cheap a couple of years ago. Thanks again. Chris ps. I can recomend Smokey Robinson`s auto-biography too. -
Surely Red has got to be the best colour Cliff!? I know Carl organises his sales box by colour of the label...says everything you need to know about Mr Fortnum really! Chris

Need these for a couple of mates... Aretha Franklin- Dont let me lose this dream Masqueraders-Do you love me baby. Cheers, Chris

You`re not wrong there Pat....both with the quality of the Cds and the presentation which was fantastic this time around. A big thanks to everyone who took part, brilliant to get 100% participation and shut the whingers up who did`nt take part because they were 2 Cds light last time! OK, November is the next one....themes anyone? How about records with labels are all the same colour?! or...."records you have never heard played out anywhere ever"? Thanks again. Chris.

I received Rob Kays Cd today...like the other late comers well worth the wait... Unless i`m mistaken that gives up a full house on this swap? Someone please PM and let me know if I`m wrong and i`ll chase the individual up personally. I must say this has been a fantastic swap. Musically it was as good as ever but the effort you guys put into the presentation was absolutely stunning....almost made me do another CD i was so ashamed of the way i presented my effort! Thanks again to everyone concerned...November will come around soon enough.... Cheers, Chris
