Events this month, I`ll be making a trip North of the border when I guest at the Bonnyrigg Anniversary night on November 22nd. The venue is The Chase function hall. I did this night last year and it was one of the best nights of the year for me. I hope to see some of my Scottish or is it Scotch customers out on the night! Some really sad news regarding the night I was involved with at the Three Greyhounds. Due to a new manager taking over and his poor attitude towards the soul nights the nights will cease with immediate effect. A lot of people put a lot of effort into making the night something special and even though attendences were up and down I always believed it would really take off. I know Shifty wont deal with these guys again and I have started to do the same, I have a section at the back of my sales book called "The wankers list" where i write their name and the record they ordered and if they try to order again i quote them for both records! Tell you what John, you lead this time, although it doesn`t take up a massive amount of time i have a lot on with work, builders, knackered desktop,pregnant wife, new list etc.I`ll leave it to you this time mate... Of course I`m in for the swap as usual..... All we need is a theme...to refresh your memories in the past we have done "LP tracks" Desert Island discs" and "Cheapies but goodies". As I said before i think i enjoyed the lp tracks swap the most but the ony danger with that is the CD tracks I would want to put on my CD are the same ones i managed to pick up after hearing them on the swap! How about sticking to one city, Detroit, Chicago etc Over to you John..... Chris

Pretty simple really Zane....I start a new thread asking who is interested, leave it a couple of days, the first 30 are in, they send me their email and postal address then i send out the other 29 participents details....you do a CD depending on the theme and copy it 29 times, send it out to the other punters and await 29 Cds of quality soul to drop thru your letter box over the next 2 months or so....enjoy the Cds!
