My tuppence worth: I've only ever seen UK 7 & 12". I have the Motown 12" promo, which includes Bettye Lavette?? (I think) among other. In the current market, I think you'd get a 7" for £30-ish I'm almost certain the Beverley Glen is a boot to cash in on the demand a while back.

I did the exact same thing a few weeks back with about £3000 worth of vinyl. The first thing I did was ring up all the London record shops with a list of the more obscure items, in case they were offered them. They are surprisingly helpful and assured me they would put notices up in the shops. I also mailed every dealer I could think of as well. In the end, I had a very happy ending. After nearly 4 weeks, I had a call from TFL saying they might have my records. They did and every one of them!! Black cab drivers have to hand any lost property to a Police station and then they go onto Baker St. Your missing records are not their priority and can therefore take time to turn up. The cabbies get a fraction of your storage costs, but you can give more when you collect them like I did. Don't give up hope and I wish you all the luck with getting your records back.

Andy Davies sold his Milton Parker privately for that amount last year, so considering JM's knack for getting higher than usual prices I'd say the seller was out of pocket.

Despite our best endeavours to keep recording new shows, it has proved increasingly difficult over the past couple of months. This is mainly due to Neil's work committments, Niki's pregnancy and an ever demanding 3 year old. It is with much sadness then, that we have decided to stop doing the radio shows for the foreseeable future. We will return as soon as it is practical. That may mean a later time slot when the kids are tucked up in bed then! We would like to say a huge thanks to Carl and Spot at Starpoint Radio for giving us the opportunity to take part in our favourite past time of spinning vinyl.
