Frank Everett - Spellbound - Big Smoky 1977 & Frank E. Moore - Spellbound - Exochronos 1977 is the same track, although different recordings. To these ears the F.E.M version sounds later, although I suspect from the writing credits it was the first release. I've no doubt Clouds are the future for music. I save my vinyl to mp3 onto my Livedrive Cloud. I also save all my Invoices, Quotes & Photos' etc which also enables me to access everything on my phone when I need to. I can save huge amounts of data for little more than the cost of one external hard drive. Instead of compiling CD's I point friends to my Cloud to save what they want themselves. I'm a vinyl man first but I'm then more likely to reach for a CD over mp3 to play indoors, so I'll miss them.

The ones your contact got directly from AJ himself Steve, must be the only official represses/2nd issues. I'm guessing AJ got them pressed up himself, after he got wise to the records popularity. At the time of the earlier boots, the master copy was in a JA studio hence the reason he knew nothing about them. At the time we met him (6 years ago) AJ had recently been reunited with the master copy.

As this has question has popped up again recently, I thought i'd throw my hat into the ring as well: AJ Brown had nothing to do with the 2nd pressing and he wasn't aware of it. He seemed to think the boots came about when he'd left the masters in one of the studios a while back. He has the masters back in his posession now. Ths came directly from him when I met him in JA.

I'm with you 100% Brett. There's no doubt collecting is an addiction. We lie to our Missus how much we pay and how much we spend. We buy in secret and we crave the next hit. All the things that drink/drug addicts do. I do sometimes wish I could turn to laptop Soul, but what would I do then?........
