I now have the Thelma acetate, so don't need my issue copy now. Looks like a VG at best, but actually plays very well indeed. Some minor pops and crackles but don't detract from overall listening quality, in fact played it out last night at Mill Lane and sounded fab. £80 secures, bargain! PM me if interested Mark

I have used the Ion system for about 3-4 years, the initial appeal was at the time I needed a (cheap) additional vinyl - PC that does the job, ease / convenience of use and must admit generally not had transfer problems, so sorry cant help! It does have its moments though. A habit lately of loading two copies of a file of a track at a time, which it never used to do. One of the files doesn't open after transfer so constantly have to delete that one to tidy up the play list. My home PC's grinding to a halt though, so may be the PC rather than the system. Also that Gracenote title finder thing is annoying. Also annoyong you cant email files.

Quick update, as well as the colour and B&W softback options, I have just uploaded a colour PDF version tonight which can be purchased at the Blurb website. You'll find it here (select PDF / softback as appropriate): https://www.blurb.co.uk/b/4222235-it-s-better-to-cry-colour-version Just another option. Tried to do ebook conversion but unfortunately the (early) software package I used can't handle the process. Mark
