An original performance booking contract (AGVA #106880) for an appearance by Eddie Floyd at the Roseland Ballroom, St. Petersburg, Florida. Performance date December 1966. Details of venue location, rehearsal and show times, fees, terms and conditions, and deposit requirements are referenced. This contract from Eddie's early Stax years is significant when considered it is dated a few months after the release of "Knock on wood" and two months before "Raise your hand". The document is in great condition for age, with minimal creasing and no tears or defacement. Check this one out! The Van Dykes' June 1967 original performance contract, for a Durham, North Carolina venue, within a few months of when they recorded "Save My Love For A Rainy Day" on Mala. From the Phil Walden Artists and Promotions office estate, the documents contain dates, terms and conditions, plus artist fees. I have three original formats available - top copy (£20), and two office carbon copies done at the time (£10 each, print quality just short of top copy but still very decent, can send sample scan). BC33881) for an appearance by Willie Hightower at the Redstone Arsenal NCO Club, Huntsville, Alabama. Performance date September 1972. Details of venue location, rehearsal and show times, fees, terms and conditions, and deposit requirements are referenced. Contract is signed by Willie Hightower. The package is in very good condition and contains the original contract, three office carbon copies, and three deposit riders. Of particular interest, the original allocated artist assigned to this contract number was Mary Wells, but has been replaced (as shown in image) by Willie Hightower. Other material from the estate suggests that this was due to a cancellation of availability by Mary Wells' management. Looking at £20 plus UK post. PM to reserve.
