  7. Just need quick clarification on something folks. Have trawled but unable to find out so sorry about yet another Shrine thread.... I understand the usual pressing run was 2500 max for most of the releases (apart from the obvious ones!), but wondering how many were done of these two, particularly as they sold well regionally (any figures?). Think the Epsilons went for a second run-how many then? Also see less of the Cautions compared to the Epsilons, did the Cautions not get a second run? Mark.

  11. Have a ton of favourites non-motown related. But how about the Peps or Ronnie Love's versions of "Detroit, Michigan" (D-Town) for a non-motown related label that nods towards Berry Gordy's and name drops a few at the same time! Love it!

Now, I know this superb unreleased midtempo item was put out on CD (One of the Groovesville Reviews I think?) but are there any acetates around, and has it been issued (since CD release) on vinyl either in the UK or elsewhere? Thanks Mark.

  15. Pmd you Mark
  16. Quality tune, how catchy is this, one of those you just don't want to end, know what I mean! First heard this on 'that famous', oft copied tape by Robin Salter in the mid 80s (same tape that had Terry Callier on, when everybody thought it was a one off at the time?). Through the years I've 'matured (?)' into a reet 60s snob, however this tune is awesome! Ask my wife and 9 year old daughter!

Got my copy for 50p (no joke!) at a car boot sale in Edinburgh in the early 90s! Downside is sold it for £20 a couple of years later to help pay off a student bill! Ah well....bugger. Possibly the only record to have an orgasm all the way thru the song (the singer that is, not me)? Oh baby, oh yessssssssssssssssss...................... Mark
  20. Sorry folks lost the plot!! Lonely lover on flip of both, is the same group. Spaz. Memory like a sieve.
  21. Always wondered if these are the same as the Broadway lot, though vocally not sure? (forget "Time..." overrated IMO, "Lonely.. ." is just immense tho) Different line up maybe or completely barking up the wrong tree? Mark
