  1. Hi, PM me if interested, Cheers, Mark. Forris Woods -Stoned on love - Abbott £40 George Benson - My womans good to me - A&M £30 Incredible and very unexpected superb midtempo crossover sound - sublime! Calvin Williams - Lonely you'll be / It wont matter at all £50 (promo/white label) Darrell Banks - I've got a feelin' / Here come the tears £30 (promo / white label) Shirelles - Look away / Shades of blue - Scepter (excellent / near mint) £25 Shirelles - Wait till I give the signal / Wild and sweet - Scepter (vg+ plays great) £25 Vondells - Lenora / Valentino - Marvello £50 Fantastic obscure Chicago group harmony, northern and doowop collectors are after both sides! Doesn't come up that often, and won't see one either cheaper than this or in this condition. In pristine condition, label and vinyl, see below. PM me if interested, Cheers Mark. Mel Wynn - Stop Sign - Wand £50 Classic northern here! Record would be near mint (and 2-3 times the price) if not for the finest stress fracture, appears to be under the 'skin' (manufacturing fault?) - self contained, barely noticeable (I missed it for years!) and definitely does not affect play. This is not a shagged record. Apart from this imperfection (we're all allowed these aren't we?) the record plays beautifully. Excellent sheen, labels very much intact and generally looks fab! PM me if interested.
  2. Hi Andy, hows it going! There's still a lot of us on here y'ken! Might be an ex-pat now (Yorkshire!) but will never forget the 80's / early 90s Scottish scene, from my formative Fife years ( the Crown (Thornton) / Glenrothes), the Fife minibus thing for 5+ years (LOADS of superb nights, niters and dayers), and of course, Allanton (Shotts). I'm still buying stuff now I heard 20-25 years ago in these places. The Stafford influence (sounds and philosophy) was very clear, but the Scottish scene definitely had its own identity too. Big up for yourself Andy, Alan & Steve (of course!), Jock, Keith, Jim, all the other usual DJ suspects, and to everybody involved in the scene at the time!
